Need to see the beginning to establish the LOS. It looks like Goff may have gotten past the LOS for a short gain.

Parsons missed and Goff was still running. If that was a sack it should be credited to Armstrong he’s the one who tripped up Goff. Hard to tell, but Goff may have gotten past the line of scrimmage before he went down.

The whole reason of this thread is that clip proves Micah is the one who tripped Goff, not Armstrong.

My only question was where was the ball hiked and where did Goff end up. I’m other words, did he make it just past the line of scrimmage?

EDIT: Nevermind. Saw the play from another angle and Goff was definitely behind the LOS. Hopefully, the league will corr ct the mistake.

I’m seeing what the game announcer saw and that’s Armstrong tripping Goff and causing him to fall. Goff got away from Parsons and was running and it was Armstrong who tripped him.

Like another poster stated...I too remember seeing this on tv wondering if it was a sack. It seemed to be a yard or two short to make me immediately question if Parson got another sack. We could be wrong...but it seemed to be short on tv. But the commentators didnt call it a sack. I was in the game thread and saw posters asking if it was a sack to. I guess we all got fooled by the tv. I believe Bob Sturm had a video suggesting it should be a sack for Parsons too.

Why would Parsons be asking for a sack if it was passed the line of scrimmage?

Not that big of a deal but I hope he gets credit if it should be a sack for him.

He didn’t, I remember this play. Multiple posters including myself asked if this was a sack in the game thread.

If he didn't get back to the LOS then it should be a sack and Parsons should get the credit.
