Yes, let's pay someone $35M+ for lack of awareness.
What was they gonna accomplish by winning this game? They were out of the playoffs anyway. I hope they loose the next one and get higher draft picks. This team was destined for failure from the beginning of the season by our front office.

Like others have stated

Lack of awareness isn’t lack of effort he looked like he thought the ball had been thrown which is why you see him rushing the qb again when he realizes it isnt

Lack of awareness again isn’t lack of effort but both are unacceptable

Fans seem to look for reasons not to like him.
They do that on a regular basis......even shots at player that's been injured for a while, player that is on the field for a few plays, player that had a QB disconnect with him. Mingo and Zeke were credited with changing momentum......we didn't have any momentum after one bounce back drive.......then.......we had a dumb 3 & 1 play (situational football?), a fear to go for it (lack of confidence) after fake punts were flowing like a busted pipe, we had an early pick 6 that brought more negative comments about the injured QB (hate) than the starting QB (mythical expectations), we saw our WR group (one of the worse) has been trash all year, we saw our D get gutted in the air, then gutted in the run, we saw a 3rd string QB having never played, look like a 5 year veteran.

As for Micah.......it's rather simple.......lots of talking during the weeks that doesn't measure up on the field. I saw Philly OL whipping him like a bad kid, but many will say there was a lot of holding. I saw two tackles on the stat sheet. I'm still waiting for the Top DE list on the podcast, since he knows how to discredit, minimize or simply disrespect his own teammate regularly and possibly alienate others with the "I don't have to be the highest paid" or "there's not much difference between $40M and $30M". I like Micah, but he's a continuing "front runner" during the week .....but the film don't lie. Just maybe your pass rush or chaos would have helped Booth, a practice squad candidate, a bit. Don't tell me Micah needs help.....we don't say that for our injured QB. We say our injured QB is stat padding or piling numbers up against the bad teams.......seen Micah's stats?

Has The Refs Ever Call a Holding Call On Parson..The Answer Is NO..
And these kind of Holds (PIC) Happens Every Game And No Call..
The OP Is Cherry Picking..So C'Mon Man..

Yep that's holding, without question.........but I saw way too many other plays where Micah got a momma beating like a child fighting in school or talking back at the teacher.

Yes this happens with just about every player when they are coming up for a new contract.

Fans have been conditioned by the Jones into believing that them being signed, is preventing the Jones’ from building a competitive roster. So they blame the players rather than the **** GM’s.

Yep, once a fan decides they no longer like a player, they micro analyze everything about the player, on and off the field. They attribute bad plays (and losses) to them and good plays (and wins) are ignored or considered exceptions or the result of somebody else making it favorable for them. They share all negative media information and ignore or dismiss any positive media. I'm sure it's typical of all fanbases but exceptionally so for Cowboy fans.

I really wish these type of fans could have every aspect of their lives analyzed (both at work and off-work) and shared with 10s of millions of people and see how they would fare. Especially, when the people start posting many times a day, day after day, why said person sucks at everything. Something tells me nearly every single one of them would be crushed under the scrutiny.

On that play it looks to me like Parsons thought the ball had been thrown because he turned around to look at the end zone and then when he realized the quarterback still had the ball he went after him.
I actually thought first , he quit on the play . I think he got spun around and like you said thought the ball had already been released. It was a butt whipping and one play should not define him.

I've never seen a "great" player over run the play so often.

He does gather double teams and, arm bars, and headlocks...so not gonna Hassle him about rests. Too bad there's no interior beast to take advantage of it.

If I made 2, 10, or 50 million I'd think microanalyze would be a requirement.

My 20-some bucks an hour not so much.

What's sad is, the refs aren't even trying to appear unbiased when it comes to blatant holds like this. They just don't talk about it and if a player mentions it, suddenly that player gets called for more penalties and penalties against them don't get called. This is precisely one of the reasons that the NFL is not classified as a "sport". It's classified as "entertainment". There's a huge difference.
ive been watching more non dallas games this season (Rooting for Dan Campbell), and the amount of terrible calls/noncalls makes the game unwatchable.
Neutral zone infraction on the defense for NOT crossing the line of scrimmage but made the OL jump was a good one i watched last night. The ever changing pass interference calls, holding when they feel like calling it etc.

Annoying coming from someone who played on defense seeing what offenses can get away with these past 6ish years

This is the most frustrating part of it. There are multiple instances of this every game...and I'm sure 1) the Cowboys send these to the front office and 2) the front office reviews all plays to evaluate the quality of officials to rate their performance. With that knowledge and nothing changing, it's obvious that their is something else being considered to not address this blatant issue.

And before the response of you can call holding on every play, or all of the great ones get held, I'm speaking of the frequency and unequivocally obvious holds (sometimes with ref right there in front of it) that goes uncalled.

Yep got the same impression, unless he faked it, lol. However he was diving into the goal line piles and the butt push piles so wouldn't say there was a lack of effort.

Yeah, this is hardly proof the dude is just packing it in.

That being said, who could blame him. This team sucks, they got rolled and they have an owner who is too stupid to build an elite team around guys like Parsons and Lamb.

Most CEOs and C-suite executives don't get microanalyzed. And it really doesn't change the facts of the statement. The fans I'm talking about even if if you gave them the salary wouldn't be able to hold up to the scrutiny much less perform to the level of expectations that they are being held to.

Also why does the same level criticism apply to college athletes...good over to those boards and tou will see the same thing going on.

They aren't very public figures, unless you count assassination.

This phenomenon wasn't invented by cowboys fans. Done to famous celebrities through the ages. Comes with the territory. If it's too much to bear come slog through regular Joe jobs with us.
