That’s not lack of effort it’s lack of awareness. He thought the pass had been thrown for some reason.
A competent GM would have been on the phone with Detroit the moment their pass rusher went down with with a season ending injury. The Cowboys are a franchise are not going to be competing for anything for a long time. The only sane approach at this point is to start stockpiling picks to recreate the roster.

Micah is meant to play for a team that always has a large lead, where yhe other team is forced into situations where they have to abandon the run. In those scenarios he can wreak havoc and have 20 sack years.

But on teams that are just average or below average (like DAL), where teams can go heavy on the run, his skills are nullified. He's a 1 dimensional player. The far guy they drafted to clog the middle is a cream puff

He’s not a linebacker, he’s a defensive end. In fact, he somewhere in the middle. He’s just an exceptional talent in the wrong size body. He wears down by the fourth quarter on the line. But he can’t cover tight end to stay at linebacker. What do you do with the guy like that?

They do that on a regular basis......even shots at player that's been injured for a while, player that is on the field for a few plays, player that had a QB disconnect with him. Mingo and Zeke were credited with changing momentum......we didn't have any momentum after one bounce back drive.......then.......we had a dumb 3 & 1 play (situational football?), a fear to go for it (lack of confidence) after fake punts were flowing like a busted pipe, we had an early pick 6 that brought more negative comments about the injured QB (hate) than the starting QB (mythical expectations), we saw our WR group (one of the worse) has been trash all year, we saw our D get gutted in the air, then gutted in the run, we saw a 3rd string QB having never played, look like a 5 year veteran.

As for Micah.......it's rather simple.......lots of talking during the weeks that doesn't measure up on the field. I saw Philly OL whipping him like a bad kid, but many will say there was a lot of holding. I saw two tackles on the stat sheet. I'm still waiting for the Top DE list on the podcast, since he knows how to discredit, minimize or simply disrespect his own teammate regularly and possibly alienate others with the "I don't have to be the highest paid" or "there's not much difference between $40M and $30M". I like Micah, but he's a continuing "front runner" during the week .....but the film don't lie. Just maybe your pass rush or chaos would have helped Booth, a practice squad candidate, a bit. Don't tell me Micah needs help.....we don't say that for our injured QB. We say our injured QB is stat padding or piling numbers up against the bad teams.......seen Micah's stats?
good players make those around him better. problem is those around Micah arent very good, look how bad they were when Micah was out. with Dak, its the opposite. Dak plays better when he is surrounded by good players. team plays the same, if not better, when he is out.

Every player plays better when they are surrounded by talent.

Also, if you have figured this out yet, the QB position is the most dependent on other players than any other position other than maybe a place Kicker.

thats the problem with Dak. there is no difference between him playing and not, except Dak is an all time great at garbage stats.

Fine....if that's what you want to go with, a rather slant in the narrative. My eyes saw Micah get beat like he stole something yesterday, despite a few missed holding calls. And I like Micah, beyond the talk.

Really. And I don’t get it. He’s an elite player and gives max effort all day. He thought the ball had been thrown and that’s gonna happen sonetimes but has nothing to do with effort. He’s doubled and tripled and still impacts every game
He got his 10 sacks, what's the problem.

we watched different games then. i saw Micah getting pressure consistently when he was blocked by one guy, but was doubled and tripled on majority of plays. the DE opposite of Micah, usually Kneeland or Lawson was a non factor. they have no speed or moves. a FB can block them and did.

Champions don’t take plays off or give up mid-play. Champions sell out from whistle to whistle.

I like how narratives are twisted by trying to watch a game that has probably 60 snaps for some of these players and you pick out two to three snaps go This is why they shouldn't get paid literally you left out the last part where he basically reinjure the quarterback....

I mean it literally shows in the video he got double teamed he got chipped really hard and by this time when you have 2.5 to 3 seconds go by and you thought the ball was thrown he stopped for a split second when he realized the quarterback still had the ball he went and nearly broke his ribs..

But when you're consistently held double tripled sometimes you're thinking somebody had to make a play down the line somewhere that play has to be over by then he was being blocked by a 325 LB lineman one of the best in the business by the way and saquon Barkley chipped him hard that's a long time he couldn't see but he the play was over so he stopped but you know breaking down is part of a linebacker job right there are sometimes where a play happens and you're just trying to get a view and you're either a spy you're a Rover you're waiting for someone to come into your zone it happens this plays the last two or three weeks people are trying to pick on Parsons I get it I watch the game it did look like he stopped but he didn't quit he stopped there's a big difference if he quit he wouldn't have been saw the quarterback going to the outside which is his job containment he couldn't get to the quarterback so he contained him then he hit him really hard.. But apparently the reason the quarterback still had the football and he wasn't sacked or pressured by somebody else was because he someone was being held the play was called a hold and it was called back and the quarterback got knocked out so did we leave out context sure it makes Micah Parsons look like a quitter if that's how you wanna see it that's not what the rest of the league will see just like people don't like Prescott will only pick his bad plays out and act like he can't make some of the throws these other quarterbacks make because they don't bother to go back and look at his highlight reels each year it will amaze you when you watch the balls he can fit into small spaces compared to a Cooper rush I I I don't like these narratives where you only pick the worst place to show and then you leave out even the rest of the play you're even talking about there's always context that can drive perception and give you a different perspective and in this case you're off base.....

Ok.....maybe a TV needs adjusting. 2 tackles yesterday and ran on his side a few times.

yeah, thats what happens when you have two guys blocking you and run away from your side. wonder who had the most QB pressures though?
