There is a point where a QB becomes a runner instead of a passer and they call it a rushing attempt. Judgement call. For example, a QB drops back to pass and the pressure is tight so he tucks the ball and steps up into the pocket to take off running. I would guess they deem it a rush if he never pulls up again to look downfield for a pass. You get tackled as you step up with the ball tucked and chances are they call it a tackle for loss like what happened to Parsons in the Giants game.

Also on that NYG play. It was a bad snap or whatever they call it, maybe a fumble. Therefore it is like a running play. So yes, a TFL.
