That's all we ever do, watch other teams get better, why we think resigning our own will get the job done when it didnt last season.

Bennett is good but he has had nagging injuries and he is a Bennett and that shows sometimes. He is 32 years old and really not an every down guy this late in his career.

This only means that Curry is a goner, Bennett on the down side of his career, Curry on the upside. Just a cap space move, isn't going to make them any better.

The eagles didn’t give up much for him. So that’s a positive for them.
Bennett is old though too.

So it’s not so much a long term move. Just reloading to try and win another one soon.
which is what this league is now.

I heard the samething about Jeffery last year. This is a good move for the Eagles.

All we need to do is build the greatest and most expensive offensive line in the NFL and we will be unstoppable

That is Jeffery had a lot of lower body injuries and what made him special is not that explosive anymore.

You have to think at some point this would cause our FO to spend some money at least. Maybe not a big name but a middle level guy that can start at safety or LB. Who am i kidding. We aint doing crap

Philly certainly isn’t sitting around on their hands like we are. They just won the Super Bowl and still have the pedal to the metal. They went after Foles last offseason who we could have signed. They traded for Ajayi during the 2017 season who could have helped us in Zeke’s absence and made a solid backup. Philly is being aggressive something the Cowboys used to be when Jerry first bought the team. We built our great teams in the 90s by being aggressive and making trades and going after quality free agents. All we do now is re-sign our own players and add a mid to low tier free agent or two who end up not doing a damn thing.

We just missed the playoffs and Philly who just won the SB just made another solid move to make them even better. Jerry was talking about all the coaching changes that were made, acting like adding a different QB coach and a few other positional coaches is going to make a big difference. He won’t dare make a change at the one coaching position that would make a difference if he brought in a qualified HC.
