Unless they get all that yardage in garbage time because they're being blown out. Context.

As for this thread, throw to who's open. If you have to throw at all. If Zeke and Pollard can get you down the field, do that. No need for flashiness, just move the chains.
Have you watched the Cowboys this year? We have the number 1 ranked offense as of this moment. We didnt get here by handing the ball off to Zeke and Pollard 60 times a game.

How so brother?

Coop costs $20 mil/year.

Gallup could be resigned for $10 - $12 mil/year.

Wilson could be had for $5 mil/year.
pipe dream. kenny golliday just got 18 mil, i’d imagine the floor for gallup is 15

Want that lucrative contract extension, Michael? This is the game where you prove your worth. If
Gallup goes for 150 and 2 TDs, do you think there's a chance Dallas re-signs him over Cedrick Wilson? Go Cowboys.

This is where he can prove he can be a "#1 receiver"...the drama of this place. :muttley:

Yeah, Denver was unimpressed. No team goes out there with the same gameplan game after game. You approach things differently with different teams. If the run is there, you do it until you can't. People are in love with big fantasy stats to tell them something. I'm talking about getting the win no matter how you do it.

What if Gallup shows out in a big Playoff game? No one will care about a regular season game, so defining moment...nah.

over wilson? If Gallup has 8 catches for 150 and 2 tds, he will likely be getting re-signed and cooper released or at least restructured. Id LOVE to be able to keep Gallup along with Cooper and CeeDee.

Cooper is such a great guy to have on the team. Not only as a player, but he is a good teammate that doesnt sit and wine. You think hes jealous of CeeDee getting his TDs last week? Nope, Coop is awesome and I pray we can keep them all. Sadly, its unlikely though.
If we can actually win a dang SB, players tend to stick around for less to keep with it.

Let's just hope it's not a repeat of the jets game when Cooper left super early in the game and then the offense couldn't recover.

Not looking for Gallup to do no more than what the offense requires him to do. The team does not need a hero. All receivers, backs, tight-ends, O-lineman, coaches, and the QB; do your part.

because how many yards a WR gets is a clear indication of how effective they are. It is unlikely a receiver goes for 8 catches for 22 yards and 6 first downs.
No it is not. It’s just how many times they are targeted. Jason Witten perfect example

Huge loss of Cooper out this week, but they still have enough firepower to dominate on the offensive side of the football. This is why you don't trade away your depth during hopefully a long playoff run. As we all know, most likely won't be possible to keep both Cooper/Gallup next season, we saw what the team would look like with Gallup, now we get to see without Cooper, which will allow the team to see which player is more needed.
