Unless Jerry wants to extend another player or two then they will extend one of the 3 soon. If Lamb then they could gain about 10 to 15 million in cap space. If Dak, then the gain would be about the same and if Parsons then around 4 million on the cap.
Stephen even talked about getting the cap right for this year and in 2025. If so, then they make these moves and sign some free agents in week 3 of free agency which most likely will be guys like Dobbins, Elliot, or Akers at RB, or Tart, Blacklock or Lynch at DT, or J.C. Jackson, Maddox, or Ya-Sin at CB, or Williams at Center. As to a WR, wouldn't be surprised to see Dallas send a 4th in 2025 and Brandin Cooks to Buffalo for Stefon Diggs after June 1st. Gives Buffalo real cap relief a good WR and gives Dallas a great #2 who has no more guarantee money on last 3 years if his contract and Dallas could convert part of his salary (18 million) to bonus to lower 2024 cap number. Dallas will get 9.5 million after June 1st from Gallup's for rookie salaries so the Diggs money would be for in season signings.
The Cowboys FO is going to do something and probably something big because that is just how Jerry does things, like it or not. The draft will probably be 2 or 3 guys they bring in for the 30 visits so will have to watch for those names.
