I think he's inactive every Sunday unless someone gets hurt.

Dallas has spent all this time propping up Randle as the guy, and McFadden is easily the most complete back on the roster. That leaves Dunbar, and we all know just how much Scott Linehan loves his 3rd-down "toys". Dallas isn't going to have four tailbacks active each Sunday, especially when the 4th guy is being targeted for what amounts to a couple of carries per game.

Unless Linehan can be convinced that McFadden can handle Dunbar's role, Michael sits at #4 on the depth chart.

Well if Linehan loves Dunbar so much why wasn't he in more during 3rd downs last year? Frankly, I haven't recalled Scott saying anything about Dunbar. I think Dunbar stuck around because Jerry wants him and covets those quick backs like Dunbar. Linehan and Garrett could probably care less about him so long they can run the ball pretty effectively.

JAGbar's role is on the far end of the bench running water onto the field for the real players during timeouts.

I love all the excitement ab Michael's.. I hope this trade becomes highway robbery, but till then.. McFadden will be the starter that Randle will spell regularly. But if McFadden proves to be what some think of him.. Well, Michaels will have his best opportunity since he's been in the league.
I'm personally rooting for all of them..all four (yes, Dunbar too) are uber talented despite their individual question marks. The Dallas Cowboys let the league's leading rusher chase the money. How did they replace him? By a Commitee approach that includes very talented, motivated, younger Runningbacks that are chomping at the bit to run behind the leagues best OL. Each one of them realize the pot of gold that could be waiting for them.. Demarco Murray. So, Let the games begin and let the best RB lead us to Lombardi VI!

Yes, win the Super Bowl with one or with 4 RB's.

Did the Cowboys get a chance to interview CMike b4 pulling the trigger on the trade or is it a blind date scenario?

My thoughts?
You don't bring in a player who expressed his displeasure riding the bench for a two-time Super Bowl team unless you expect to play him.
Otherwise, you've merely transferred his attitude and not his opportunities.
