Very possible.

Good luck using a Cowboys RB in fantasy football this year. At least for the first month of the season.

I've got them all in one of my leagues. All I have to do is wait to see which two drop first and ride the last one to a championship.

Should have seen him at Pitt..you could tell he was special.

And then he became a Cowboy..Let the good times roll.

I did - watched him trample Notre Dame for 303 yards. Became a fan that minute despite being a ND mark.

Well if Linehan loves Dunbar so much why wasn't he in more during 3rd downs last year? Frankly, I haven't recalled Scott saying anything about Dunbar. I think Dunbar stuck around because Jerry wants him and covets those quick backs like Dunbar. Linehan and Garrett could probably care less about him so long they can run the ball pretty effectively.

When Linehan was hired last year, he was quoted as how intriguing it would be to utilize Dunbar in much the same role he used Reggie Bush in Detroit.

Dunbar got 6-10 snaps per game last season (snaps, not touches). Dallas faces a 3rd and 1 scenario once or twice per game. Do the math...the passing game role Dunbar playd is utilized more than the short-yardage role being touted for Michael. Dallas isn't going to carry FOUR TBs on the game day 46-man roster. That leaves the #4 on the inactive list on game days. The only ways CM moves up to #3 is if someone gets hurt, or if McFadden is handed the "Dunbar" 3rd-down role.

I don't think they are looking for that much out of Michael. What we really lost with Murry leaving was that guy you can hand the ball off to over and over again in the 4th quarter to close out a win. If Michael can do that kind of work, it's well worth bringing him in as part of the committee.

Agree...he's just an insurance policy at this point. Not just against injury, but if either Randle or DMC falls on their face. Plus, he'll be NICE in short yardage potentially. Solid, but unspectacular pickup IMHO

If you watched the Seahawk game from last year, you would see why. Dunbar was huge late in the first half on short passes out of the backfield.

I'm not a huge fan of him personally, but he can contribute in the passing game and on kick returns.

Agreed, but they don't ever use him, he has like 2 big plays in 3 years

I think Dunbar is a goner. He's got 80 caries and 31 receptions in his career. That's 3 seasons. 0 TD's.

Won't miss him IMO
