we all know why, it's because he wears a helmet during football games!![]()
why you say this????

so this means as soon as he gets a few nice catches has a few good games, he'll start getting cocky mentally and think he's a star and will end up doing something nutsI read Brugler's entire profile and history on him via The Beast. He makes NO mention of him having issues with his teammates or the locker room being a 'thug' as you mention.
Brugler ( The Beast )
Weaknesses
- Plays high in and out of breaks
- Lacks consistency as a route runner and tends to prematurely reveal intentions
- Doesn’t always play with the same urgency mid-route
- Tied for FBS-lead among tight ends in 2025 with seven drops
- Wasn’t consistently the aggressor at the point of attack in the run game
- Late to lock on and sustain, which leaves him falling off blocks (called for holding against Cincinnati and UCF)
- Battled through bruised left shoulder for much of 2025 season; missed five games as a sophomore at Ole Miss with broken right collarbone (Oct. 2022); missed six games as a freshman at USC after spraining right knee (Oct. 2021)
- Served one-game suspension for “disciplinary matter” at both Ole Miss (Nov. 2022) and at Baylor (Sept. 2024); involved in sideline incident with former Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades in 2025 — Rhoades is alleged to have taken exception to a gold, long-sleeved undershirt worn by Trigg during a home game against Arizona State (Rhoades’ role in the incident was investigated by the university)
- Maturity has been questioned by NFL teams (NFL scout: “I know how much he likes football, but he needs hard coaching … and you hope he develops better consistency, on and off the field.”)
Well.....our TE coach has worked with him. His father is a former college football player........hopefully he's listening to their advice.Cowboys need to work with him every day. Hopefully he will grow up. Both those happen, he could make the 53.
big brother sam williams will wrap him in his arms and shoulder him like a big brother he never had!!!Well.....our TE coach has worked with him. His father is a former college football player........hopefully he's listening to their advice.
Marcellus had a very good career once he left here. His problem was sitting behind Witten. After watching Martellus Bennett waste all the natural physical abilities needed to be a HOF TE, and put together an incredibly below average career, my hopes aren't high.
The percentage of leopards who find a way to change their spots is low, but fingers crossed for this young man.
Surprising he didn’t. It generally does more good than harm. Especially late rnd players. But if he gets serious now he has some raw tools that can be impactfulExactly........but for some reason, he didn't work out for teams. He already had a 5/6 round grade according to Brugler .........so not working out may have pushed him further down.
Can't ever have too many of those.Pet cat possibilities
With his hands and ability to highpoint the ball he doesn't seem to need much separation. He creates a lot of separation.
Trigg does not.
Issues, maturityIf he’s so good why not drafted ?
I'm guessing......huge hands
