The only vet QB they should pursue is PEYTON MANNING. After him, the rest are barely capable of winning games in the NFL.

If we're 5-3 and he is out a month to 6 weeks then it would make a huge difference if we could go 3-3.

It's best to just have a guy and decide to tank based on the situation.

i'd rather see what dak can do now. if we tank this year we need to know if he's a good one to rely on or if we move on.

we can all make idiotic suggestions but we can at least be realistic, when is the last time Aikman played an NFL game?

I want to see Jameill Showers in Preseason before I bring in a Vet. I think this guy is gonna earn the 2nd position with his play and not just given to him like they tried to do Kellen Moore.

We may already have a younger football version of Vick on the roster. Let the young guys see what they can do the next 2 weeks.

It'd also help having a more reasonable schedule during that stretch than last year. That was a brutal series of games against great QBs.

I am a fan of the style of play and the speed he could bring, but would rather just see Showers do that and see what he can turn into. If that brings us another top 5 pick in the process so be it.

As someone said, the only guy who could shut down Antonio Brown last year was Michael Vick. He was *awful* for Pitt.

I would seriously take back Weeden or Cassel first.

He outperformed all our backups in the W department. He could salvage a game if Romo is out for a short time. I mean what's not to like?

Oh yeah, the media will hate it. Trouble. So what? He's matured enough that he's willing to be a backup. Even if he only flashes his previous talent occassionally, Dallas will win games with him. It's not like Showers and Prescott are both making the 53 man squad.
