It's always interesting seeing reports like this.

I remember only one season ago there were so many "experts" on this board proclaiming that after JG would inevitably get fired after this year he'd be lucky to even be a position coach for a football team. Hmmmmm.

I think Garrett would be great as a college coach. But I can't see how we don't lock him up.

Michigan has maintained a desire to land Harbaugh’s brother, John, as well, sources said, but the Ravens coach has made it clear he has no interest in leaving Baltimore. Other NFL coaches on the school’s radar include New Orleans’ Sean Payton, Buffalo’s Doug Marrone and Dallas’ Jason Garrett (who is expected to sign an extension with the Cowboys shortly after the season).
Garrett isn't going anywhere.

I feel like I have posted that at least 100 times this year so far.

I can see Jim Harbaugh taking the Michigan job.

I can't. I think he's using that monster offer as leverage for his next NFL deal. I don't think this guy is crawling back to the NCAA without getting a SB ring. Crawling sounds harsh, but knowing Jim, that's exactly how he would view it. Nope, my bet is that he is going to be the next Raiders coach but I'm not familiar enough with the Davis clan to know for sure. Jim is going to be the highest paid coach in the NFL on his next deal and not sure how the Davis's feel about paying coaches. But if they're willing, I think that is certainly where Jim would like to be.
