Mickey is a Jones foot soldier. Gaslighter extraordinare. His articles are usually passive aggressive and meant to tell the fans to shut up, eat our cake, and sit down.

I haven't read a Mickey article in seven or eight years. He's not my kind of writer, and I agree that he has this "holier than thou" feel to his writing as if he is admonishing us for being so stupid.

I guess he is taking a shot at the familiarity claim.

Mickey talks about the new coaching hires and that Schotty worked with Sorenson for 4 years. So yes, this was his hire. Not Jerry's.
Talks Will McClay mostly. How Fassell was offered a 3 year deal. But he decided to leave (incoming fan cheap pay comments).

I have never asked this question, but who are sports writers that people enjoy reading Cowboys articles about? Which news channels do you enjoy watching or listening to for Cowboys news?

I will listen to 103 every so often. But that is about it, and I'm not sure that radio station is a good one to follow.
