Mickey: Do Not Minimize Dak's Availability

I could show other highlights that show Dak scrambled more than what this highlight video did, so it still disproves the false accusations that Dak can't scramble or run anymore.

And THAT is the bottom line. All of you critics actually want a running QB, so you have to make up false accusations against Dak to try to justify wanting to replace him. That's bush league tactics. Y'all want a running QB like Josh Allen, but that is not what Jerry, Schottenheimer and the Cowboys front office want. So either accept what they do want or go follow Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. It's very simple.

By the way, what has this running QB Josh Allen type ever accomplished?

Answer: Nothing.

If anything, this running QB type like Josh Allen holds the record for the
most playoff game starts (13) without reaching a Super Bowl. Doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement or map for Super Bowl success.
Daks playoff record is so much more impressive, you know even Jerry wouldn’t take Dak over Allen and no other person on the planet but you would.

You haven’t watched for more than the last few years if you don’t see the difference in his mobility
Yes, his mobility is worse, but he’s never been mobile. He was strong, because of his low base and short legs, making it difficult to take down in certain situations. Plus he was playing with an OL his first few years that was wearing down the defensive fronts..

Why are the Dak lovers so scared to admit his health/age is the massive elephant in the meeting room? Why do the lovers call others like myself haters because we are extremely aware that he is almost literally on his last legs? He hasn't done anything to make his health fail, but he has had every single important body part fail him over the last several years. Father time has caught him early, and there is not much hope things can get to where they need to be for this team to be successful. If success is 9 or 10 wins then sure, but right now the other 3 teams in the East have vastly improved their D,

Dak is fine and still able to move well enough in the pocket and scramble for 1st downs when needed. Until proven he can actually no longer do it, his critics need to pipe down with the false accusations.
LOL, last time he moved in the pocket He tore a hamstring!

QBs at bare minimum must be able to buy time in the pocket on several plays per game with a good o-line. Dak was able to do that pretty well early in his career but has declined severely year by year after the broken leg.

I have no idea why anyone would argue that last year BEFORE the hamstring injury, he looked woeful in moving around on many plays. If he looks much worse this season, you will get to see what an opposing defense that run blitzes every play looks like.

Surely shouldn't maximize his availability during the playoffs/against top teams!!
People still think it comes down to the quarterback. It comes down to team it always will and it always should. Even again the great Mahomes lol looks like trash when he didn’t have protection or running game.
I think he would actually look worse than Prescott if he was on this team, the last few seasons

I hear you. Did you have the same outrage against the previous QB when he was throwing his costly interceptions, especially in the playoffs?
We could talk until we’re blue in the face, they just don’t like the guy, he could win four Super Bowls and it would be everybody else that gets credit but him . I don’t think I’m gonna comment on another Prescott issue.
It’s not that they’re ignorant it’s that they’re beyond disgusted that he took over for their hero Tony.
And it’s not even like we’re big Prescott fans. We just understand that it takes a team. They won’t even acknowledge that.

Not for me and I'll bet many in here. The highest paid player in the league can't perform in the playoffs and against good teams. That's a problem. And the Cowboys refuse to bring in any competition for him. So we're stuck in Groundhogs Day until Dak retires.
