Just wondering what would have to happen for Jerrah to realize what Packer fans already knew about MM, and let him go after one season. MM totally conned Jerry...Urban Meyer should be leading us right now. What would have to happen for MM to get one year? Because I’m in favorite of it.

McCarthy got to bring in his guys, particularly on defense. If that turns into a big fail, it would be reasonable to move on.

McCarthy was not supposed to be a training wheels HC. There's no reason to be married to him if he doesn't produce. Part of that production is assembling a good coaching team. Make the wrong wall, get fired.

Now poor play is not necessarily poor coaching. One could blame free agency. So far, the big money signings have busted hard. McCoy (known leg issue), Poe sucked game 1, Dix couldn't make the season. Some poor evaluations there, but it's not clear that was McCarthy and not McClay and the Joneses.

Evaluating employee performance has never been Jerry's strength. Maybe with moving on from Garrett, they'll take a more professional attitude toward the coaching staff, and look to upgrade whenever they can, instead of giving so many chances to prove themselves.
