The only good thing about picking 10th was he was still there.carphalen5150;1411721 said::bang2:

I think it will be the following:
Tiger (PGA)
LaBron James (Cavs)
Vince Young (Titans)
"Dice" Matsuzaka (Red Sox)
Greg Oden or Kevin Durant (Currently Ohio St. and Texas)

2. LeBron James, F, Cavaliers (He still hasn't even reached his potential. Scary.)
3. Ryan Howard, 1b, Phillies (I think he may be assaulting HR records.)
4. LaDanian Tomlinson, RB, Chargers (May be cementing his legend as the best ever, or closing in on that designation.)
5. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (Whether you like NASCAR or not, this kid is a human gold mine for them.)
In the next five years or the next five minutes? If Bo Jackson learned to speak these guys can.StanleySpadowski;1411639 said:Matsuzaka doesn't speak english well enough. Phil Hughes is the name to watch from a marketing standpoint five years from now, he'll be playing in the top market and he got the "it" factor.
I don't think Young speaks well enough to have a ton of commercial potential either. Romo has a much better chance if he delivers on the field thanks to his speaking ability and his ethnic background.
Sucks that he never got to throw in a real game before his career went downhill.StanleySpadowski;1411706 said:And some of those in the know have told me that Matsuzaka is going to be good but not great pitcher after seeing him throw this spring.

If Reggie Bush lives up to the hype, he will be huge in marketability in 5 years. I am not counting on it myself because that is a lot of hype to live up to.
LeBron and Dwayne Wade will be there in basketball. They are both still so young and should continue to get better on the court and both have a charisma about them that marketers love.
