look the whole thing needs to be flushed. This core of players just don't know how to play big when they need to. This isn't a revelation as its been going on for long time now. Dallas just needs a cultural change. I would bring in new hc. Draft QB for future now. Get Ware to restructure his contract. Make dedicated move in draft for trench players on DL & OL.

I really wanted to move on from Romo, Witten, Ware and the rest of the core after last season but they gave Romo the new contract. This group has been given more than enough opportunities to get it done and haven't. It was time to move after last season but it didn't happen.

And please explain the 3 and out you're referring to.

What happened on those 3 plays?

If you look at the tape, none of it was Romo's fault.

In fact, it couldn't be further from it.

You just completely disproved the point you were trying to make.

I'm not referring to this game only. Over the last few years, when the going gets tough, our O runs and hides.

Considering we have one of the top rated passing offenses in the league, I'd say it's a lot better than you're giving it credit for.

top rated passing because most of it comes when the game is already out of hand.

Well this thread is about last night's debacle and is referring to this game only.

And so once again its the offenses fault the D CANNOT FORCE A SINGLE PUNT.

I didn't say it was the offenses fault. The defense is terrible. It was the reason we lost. But the offense didn't play great either. The bears don't have a good defense and the offense couldn't score more than 14 points when it was still a game. If the team would have remained competitive and lost by 7, I'd feel better about the offense.

Why is the game 'out of hand'?

Could it be because the other team never punts?

my point is, if the other team scores, our O needs to come out and answer, They need to do it again, and again and again. Denver is the only game where this team showed creativity, urgency, and a will to win on Offense. The other 5 losses were the usual garbage.

Romo found a way to get three touchdowns in zero degree weather and wind conditions. 21 points was a good job considering the conditions.

As far as the diving, he is more important to us being available for the next play as opposed to trying to absorb a bad hit and being on the sideline for weeks or the season. We've already seen that and know what the result is. I like Fisher but I disagree with him today.

I didn't think Romo was bad at all against Chicago. There was a wind and that caused some passes to sail. We have a real problem when it's 3rd and 9 and the opposing defense brings the house. We have NO answer for that. We have had the SAME issue every year under Garrett. It's either a Garrett or Romo problem. Or both.

Was that the drive where Witten dropped the pass right in his hands?

My memory is foggy I'm not sure if it was that drive or a little bit later in the game when Witten had the stone hands

Name one offense outside of maybe the Broncos who would be competitive with one of the worst D's in NFL history? I'd imagine very few offenses wouldn't be completely handicapped and demoralized with a D that can't stop their opponent one single time.

I don't know but the Rams scored 42 points on the Bears just last week.

Is this a joke? When your offense rarely sees the field and you force the run all night, your QB who still manages to score 3 TDs ISN'T to blame. This loss is completely on the defense.

And why does that offense rarely see the field, would it have to do with Romo going three and out perhaps.... how about when Chicago brings pressure, Romo is looking to tackle the ground, or how about on fourth down, Romo is throwing it into the ground instead of just throwing it up in the air, at least then someone might have a chance to catch the ball.....everyone knows the defense is horrible, and some of us stated Kiffin wasn't the answer a long time ago but Romo's garbage time touchdowns just pad stats, don't help you win games....this offense is not balanced and Romo is also part of the problem with the offense..

go check out the bottom 8 ranked defenses. Broncos, Pats, Bears, Eagles, Vikings, Falcons, Jaquars and Cowboys.

If our O was so good, then we'd have records like the Broncos, Pats and Eagles.
