110% without question.

I fully expect a press conference two days after the bengals get beat by the ravens or whoever at home announcing the hiring of zimmer.

and I bet zimmer brings his son in some sort of big defensive role.

I am curious to see what happens in Detroit. I really like scott linehan.

in a perfect world we would get an old school in charge type as head coach and a guy like linehan as OC and hopefully a high end dc.

but that is not going to happen. We are going to get zimmer because he can work with jerry because he has done it before.

Then it will officially be the campo years again.

Wow.

Yeah, I'd officially be checked out. Maybe even from this place too.

I see no way that even this used-car salesman, current version of Al Davis, could convince himself, much less anybody else, that hiring Zimmer as head coach would somehow 'fix things'.

As a salesman, he has to sell something to his consumer base.

To this point, he's still getting by on hope and nostalgia, but I think that's wearing itself out.

Hiring Zimmer wouldn't give any of those consumers any hope that things would improve, only the obvious image of Jones going further into senility and power-mad control and taking this franchise down with him.

Why is anyone counting on Garrett being gone? I can't imagine that any of you actually believe he's going to fire Jason.

The dude isn't going anywhere. He'll be here again next year. I have no doubt about that.

Kiffin will be fired, and along with that we likely lose Rod (Whose probably going to join Lovie where ever he ends up) but I highly doubt that Garrett is touched.

Callahan will probably be canned as well.

Can't 'sell' that move to the consumers anymore either.

Have to stop with this it's everyone fault but Romo. said Romo was bad too last night.(which is true) im sick and tired of him taking a dive when a D-Linemen gets anywhere near him.i was shock to hear Fisher say this.he is one of the main Romo supporters.the main problem with this team is Jerry Jones. but make no mistake about this.this pitiful defense and Romo and this offense are part of the problem. what a mess.

Anyone who blames Romo for last nights debacle is just an idiot or a troll.

Harris runs the ball out to midfield and the offense goes 3 and out, defense's fault.

Not going for it on 4th down of aforementioned drive, defense's fault.

Romo overthrowing Dez by a mile high, defense's fault.

Romo throwing it into the ground on 4th and 9, defense's fault.

I guess we can conclude this loss was indeed completely on the defense.

So excellent QB's around the league make all their throws in sever weather?

He's going to try.

I'll be completely shocked if Garrett is fired.

I think they could lose the final 3 games here and he still wouldn't be fired.

I just can't see Jerry doing it.

Let him try then.

And any suckers dumb enough to continue to fork over their hard-earned money for this junk deserve every bit of heartache and disappointment that they get.

If Garrett is back next year then any love I had left for football will pretty much go out the window.

The Cowboys have become so boring to me. No chance of hope or anything.

The only time I feel like we have hope is when we beat a scrub team and I look around at the rest of the league struggling against mediocre team.

The problem is the good teams ALWAYS show up against Dallas and we have no coaching advantage and no advantage of a team sleep walking through a week of practice against us.

You mean like they've been getting for 20 years?

I'm not sure how this year is supposed to actually be the tipping point. Those previous 19-20 years...yeah we let those go. But this year...this year. No. hell no.

Sorry man I just don't see it. Wish I did, I'm right there with everyone else wanting Garrett gone, but I just don't see it.

The only bigger fan of Garrett on this planet than Jerry Jones is Hos.

This is a great example of displacement. First one; you can't expect a team to never go three and out. This falls under the Romo must score every time we have the ball or we will lose category; which last nite was true as it has been much of he year. You forget that even with time the WRs have to be where they are supposed to be. Even if they are there is no perfect QB and never will be.

Second one; Romo doesn't make the decision to go on 4th down. If he did that more than once then he would never be trusted.

Third one: Romo had a guy coming straight at him and properly thru the ball away before getting creamed. The game is out of hand and the last thing you want is your QB hurt and any chance of winning the division gone. Go back and look at that play and either Mack and/or Fred failed to pick up the blitz.

Once a team gets so far behind then it must throw the ball. Then the defense dials it up and only has to play one dimensionally which makes it easier for them. When five people have to block six or seven guys then the OL, RBs (is one is there), move TE (if one is there to block) must pick up the blitz properly which isn't always easy, the receivers have to read the defensive coverage as well as recognize the blitz and make the proper hot read, and the QB has to be able to find the guy and hit him.

There is a reason why people keep repeating this kind of nonsense. The unreasonable expectations from fans who appear to have no insight into the game and expect one guy to do all the above and do it perfectly is well.......to put it nicely.......unreasonable.

I said this during the Giants game a few weeks ago and everyone jumped on me and said what else can he do when a lineman comes at him. I said well he can not give up on the play and try to make something happen instead of just falling down, taking a sack and losing 7 yards.

He used to try to make stuff happen and people *****ed and moaned about him not protecting the ball. Now he's protecting the ball and people are *****ing and moaning about that. Romo can't win with this defense or this fan base.

And look where that's gotten him!

He barely posts here anymore and blames it on the fans attitude and complaining rather than what they're actually complaining about.

So many people would rather ignore the problem, and the folks talking about it, than to face the truth.

I miss him to be honest.

If we had to take a second-tier sort of name below a Gruden/Holmgren type, I'd take Zimmer. One thing he is that Garrett isn't is a total butt-kicker. He's also not afraid to tell Jerry to take a hike. He's the exact opposite of the Garrett politician type who is always worried about what people think about him.

We might not ever win a Superbowl with him, but I bet he'd get more out of this team than RJ.

my point is, if the other team scores, our O needs to come out and answer, They need to do it again, and again and again. Denver is the only game where this team showed creativity, urgency, and a will to win on Offense. The other 5 losses were the usual garbage.

This is an unrealistic expectation. The defense has to stop the other team sometimes. They never did last night. This is a point that can't be brushed aside or emphasized enough.

Give me Ken Whisenhunt.

Though I doubt he come to Dysfunction Junction, no matter the price.

Put up 28 pts; QB throws for 3 TD's, you rush for 200 yds, in 7 degree weather aand you still get blown out? Yea definitely the QBs fault.

I still get to see him and interact with him on another Cowboys site. He's still the biggest cheer leader among fans for Garrett. I have always liked him and I like talking with him and reading his stuff. It's always good.

I agree with this but at the same time the Cowboys need to stop listening to what people have to say and do whatever it takes to win games.

I've never seen a team be so influenced week to week by the fans and media like the Dallas Cowboys.

Romo and the Cowboys need to play to win on offense. Just like they did against Denver.

Is this a joke? When your offense rarely sees the field and you force the run all night, your QB who still manages to score 3 TDs ISN'T to blame. This loss is completely on the defense.

NO argument.....this defense is the worst of ALL time in Dallas: not even close. ROMO? ha.....
