He certainly was yesterday.
I get what you’re saying. I don’t think we’ve seen enough of Darnold to determine how good he is but yesterday he picked apart a defense that has been picked apart by Teddy Bridgewater, Eli Manning and Case Keenum. We've seen Dak do that too. And I don't mean that in a bad way since I support him. Just stating the obvious type of thing.
Who is Mike Greenberg?
Lol. In that case What a homerA Jets fan.
He might be. Nobody knows this yet. It's only his 2nd game this season.
Mike Greenberg is entitled to his opinion....let's see if Darnold has the same overall won/loss record when he has played as many games as Prescott. I'm not saying Dak is the chosen one, but using Greenberg's "critically subjective" analysis, then Darnold is better than Goff, who had a horrible day yesterday as well. Just another talking head who dislikes the Cowboys and their players.
While Sam has work to do....why would this even be controversial from a talent perspective? Darnold was a higher number 1 pick.
Dak was available in the 4th for a reason. He has limited arm talent and he processes information slowly.
He’s right. Dak couldn’t hold Darnold’s jock.Cool story
He’s got a threehead and a mole that Uncle Buck would flip a quarter to. Darnold makes Dak look like a face model. Conversely, Wentz makes Sam look like Brad Pitt.He does have a better hairline
I think the most telling aspect of Darnold's game is that the 96 yard touchdown pass was largely an audible Darnold called. He saw our defensive alignment and adjusted the play.
I'm not trying to be funny but has Dak done that on his own? Does Jason Garrett even allow him to do that? I know last year Cooper told Dak to screw the play calling and throw him the ball after Cooper noticed (can't remember the team) that they could be beaten based on the coverage they were running and the sorry patterns we were running. But does anyone know if Dak has been as good calling adjustments based on the opponent's defense?
