Bryan Broaddus reported back in training camp that the Cowboys would be cutting Hamlin. The board thought he was crazy and said that he has lost his connections with the organazation. Hmmmmmmm i think we should give his word some credit again.

No, I think the board thought he was crazy for reporting that Jason Williams was a candidate for release.

The '09 draft looks terrible, and the '08 draft isn't looking so hot either, aside from Felix Jones.

A few more years of Jerry Jones drafting without a Bill Parcells/Jimmy Johnson type to make the big-boy decisions for him, and we'll be back in the NFCE basement permanently. Everyone better hope that Peter King was right this morning that Jerry will soon be forced to turn to Cowher or Gruden.

For now, I have to second this. Why cut a 2nd year player even if he was inactive ?


There has to be more than this that's not coming out. There better be, because otherwise this is a stupid move. You don't lose patient with a young player who you thought was good enough to make your roster 5 weeks into the season. It's right down idiotic and shortsighted.

He was a 5th round draft pick. Come on now..

I very puzzled by the move and I'm expecting a good explanation to eventually come out because you don't cut young players at this time for no good reason, but it's not as if he was the cornerstone of the draft.
