Does anyone have a good feeling about this kid? I don't know seeing him get a chance in game and showing some ability has me wanting him to make the team. From what i have seen he has the hands and speed. Also did anyone notice T.O. talking to Jefferson about how he sees the ability in him on Hard Knocks? I have a hunch about this kid and i hope they give him a roster spot. I would like to see more of him this next preseason game.

I was a bit disappointed in the deep ball where Tony barely overthrew him by a step. He made no effort to go get it. Other than that one faux pas he was okay. Nothing to get excited about.

Brad over threw him.

Damn, he must be slow.

Brad had 2 good deep throws in the game. I know people do not think he can throw the ball beyond 20 yards but Brad connected with Amendola on one and Jefferson did not adjust very well on the 2nd deep throw. Brad will take what you give him but he can get the ball down field

we will see a ton of him this upcoming thursday. the way our receivers are dropping like flies neither owens nor crayton should see PT if it was up to mua. I personally think that the only reason he sees PT is because we haven't adressed the position in the draft and 2 guys ahead of him are hurt.

Well then he has a chance to shine. I don't know if Jefferson will make it or not but I always look at these chances as oppertunities and it could be his last if he does not step up. He did have some mistakes this past game but he also made a couple of nice grabs as well.

The one that bounced of his jersey didn't disappoint you?

Anyone else find it incredibly ironic that the same people taking the lead in busting the chops of the Amendola supporters are the same people that start threads on Jefferson and Lowber? Hypocrisy? Or they just know better?

FWIW, I think Jefferson could be a player too, but he's not as good a receiver as Amendola IMO. He has the size and speed you want though...and he's far more polished than Lowber.

When did i ever talk down to Amendola?

I think Hostile is wrong, he is someone to get excited about. At least more so than Amendola.

Everyone has their favorites.

It took a while for Jefferson to show up this camp considering I remember a report that we would've signed him to the roster late last season if another team attempted to pilfer him off the practice squad.

Whoever makes it will have my support.

I must have missed that one. I don't remember it.

I'm not excited about either of them. When have you seen me pumping up Amendola?

I thought there was a ball where the CB jumped in and broke up the pass -- I felt that Jefferson wasn't aggressive enough to the ball on that one -- he kinda just sat there waiting for the ball to come to him.

I remember that play too. Of the mistakes he made, most of them looked correctable. The one that bounced off his chest was pretty bad though...that's high school level stuff.

Jefferson looked ok. Sounds like Stanback might go on IR. With Austin out for awhile these other guys have a chance to make the team. We'll see what they make of it. I'd say Jefferson has a chance to be a NFL WR. A chance. Since he's here that shouldn't come as a total shock.

I was very impressed with this kids speed and his ability to get open against Houston........Now if he could only learn to catch the ball with his hands instead of his chest.

The long pass that he missed...I'll give him the benefit of the doubt...he could have lost it in the lights.;):)maybe????
