Mike Jenkins leaving the field on a cart *ankle injury, severity not known*

I never understood that and it would drive me nuts. Campo and Wade should have put a stop to that. Man I'm glad Henry is gone. He sucked so bad.

They had no choice, the WR would run right past AH if he played man up.. The coaching staff and AH knew this. That's why he's gone....

Horrible, horrible player. Looking back that $12 mil signing bonus was not worth it.

He was decent when we 1st signed him but then is play dropped off big time...

Actually Henry was probably the best CB in the league every year the first 5 weeks of every season, then he gets hurt for the final 12 weeks and becomes a true liablility......

I have absolutely no qualms about signing Henry for $12 million guaranteed. He was quite good in '05 until he got injured. The same with '06. Had a great '07 for the most part. Strangely, played horrible in the start of '08 and played well in the second half. I figure we got about 3 years total of good, quality play from the guy or just a shade below that. Believe me, there have been a ton of players, even corners who signed much bigger FA deals and came away with being productive for a lot less time than Henry did. That's why I'm not the biggest fan of FA deals, most of the time you're lucky to get 3 good years out of the guy.

We needed a backup quarterback and we needed to cut Henry. It just so happens we killed two birds with one stone. Kitna will be a great mentor to Romo and McGee.

"Killing two birds with one stone," should rarely be a reason to make a personnel decision.

All I am saying is that we could have signed a comparable backup QB and traded Henry later when his value was greater.

I said it before the secondary worries me A LOT. And, now even more.

I actually have very few worries about the secondary as long as Newman and Jenkins are fine.

Our defense is gonna be dominant this yr.

my 1 worry other than injuries is if our secondary can force turnovers.

If Spencer, Jenkins, and Sensabaugh play like they should, I think we will get more turnovers. I really believe their play will be the key.
