That's a good plan until the CBs are playing 10-13 yds off and challenging your QB throw in front of them . You see DCs have figured out Dak will (50% of the time) either hold the ball, throw high, or throw late.
balance is the key, which will force teams to get out of those deep shell coverages where many QB’s struggle with. Just look how the Chiefs win the sb, they ran the football when Philly tried to take away the pass

True, balance is always a key. However they are dropping CBs and crowding safeties up making running difficult.
I believe the only way for Dak to be successful is to roll him out of the pocket and buy time, allowing him see a clear field.

Much like 2016.

He did great in TB because their DL was horrible, they kept taking outside lanes and we just pushed them out, Dak had time and vision.

Then they should've drafted O'Cyrus Torrance
They didn't like that guy at all. That's is why they didn't take him. They actually have 2 outstanding guards in Martin and Tyler Smith.

Tyler Smith isn't always going to be a guard. He will eventually be left tackle. If they didn't like Torrance then they need their heads examined.

They know a lot more than you do.

They have a tendency to overthink and make mistakes. Get back to me when Torrence is making pro Bowls.
Where’s this tendency showing up at lol? One of the best drafting teams in the league by far.

Every team has made a TJ Watt type mistake, but very few have hit the way we have the last 9 or so years.

Don’t see where this “tendency” line is coming from

Receivers outside Lamb were awful last year, they struggled badly running the football in the 2nd half of the season. They had no screen game to think of. MM is going to bring in a more complementary offense, that will be in sink with the defense

They are about to win 12 games for the third year in a row. Something that they haven't done in decades. Torrence has issues.

Yeah this is to give Dak the same time that Romo had. Remember the commentators using the clock and showing how he had all day to throw the football. LMAO!! Stop people.

Dak has become one of the best at beating the blitz. It’s because he had to. He is coachable and can learn and get better every year. By the time Romo’s last year came around he knew the game inside and out. Body couldn’t hold out.

No real excuses for Dak at this point unless the O-Line falls apart. Romo had the best O-Line ever. But was missing Defense and some ST.

Dak should have a great Defense and very good ST. Waiting on kicker. And O-Line should be pretty good. Could be really good. We go back to leaning on the run and play action.

Let’s hold our opinions until we see how Dak plays. If he is still throwing 15 picks and over half is stupid throws then yeah it’s time to move on. We don’t have another starting QB on this team and don’t say Rush. Rush is a quality backup that will get you by.

I'm not talking about the first round. Buffalo jumped on drafting Torrence immediately after we passed on him. Obviously they didn't think he had issues.

They also haven't won a Super Bowl in 27 years. I'm not impressed two 12 win seasons in a row. The third straight year is pure speculation.

27 years has nothing to do with the current team. Just like 50 years had nothing to do with what the current Chiefs developed. The bottom line is the Cowboys are currently good with players and coaches.

He was first round talent that fell to us gift wrapped. For the Cowboys to pass up on him was pure stupidity. He has more pro bowl potential than Schoonmaker.
The Cowboys didn't like him and he was black listed. It wasn't just them it was many teams. It has nothing to do with making pro bowls.

If Torrance was first round talent, why did he last until the 59th pick? Almost round 3!

Don't look at it as a current team but a franchise. The same FO has been totally in charge all this time.

So You get to share your opinion, but the rest of us have to hold ours, LOL.
Anyway, it's not the interceptions that are the big issue with Dak. It's on third and 8 when he throws a 3 yd pass. Or just misses the throw. That's the part that has to get better. He got to have enough faith in his arm to throw to a guy who has a step, instead of patting the ball and looking for the easier throw.
I hope he gains some confidence, not just talking, but in the pocket.
