We need a good play caller and offensive scheme. KM had some questionable calls while he was here but MM is far worse. Pair KM with Vrabel or Saleh as DC and go from there.

I'd rather have Kellen Moore as my OC, but he just doesnt strike me as a great head coach. I'd rather have McCarthy.

And Kellen Moore was 20th. It's amazing how good talent can make coaching look easy, and bad talent can make that same coach look like a fool.

As a long time Texas Tech fan, I know a lot about Kingsbury and I have mixed feelings. He’s an offensive genius but I’ve always doubted his ability to be an effective HC. He’s the ideal OC but he’s never impressed me as a HC.

As a QB developer, he’s great. He developed Mahomes at Tech, Baker Mayfield his freshman year at Tech, Johnny Manziel at A&M and Murray of the Ariz Cardinals. But with those talented QBs, he never won a conference championship at the college level and only made the playoff once at Arizona.

Which may mean he’s headed to Dallas, Lol!

We’ll get the same result with either as well as any other coach if the GM is still large and in charge if your ultimate goal is reaching a SB.
