Mike McCarthy or Kellen Moore in 2025?

As a long time Texas Tech fan, I know a lot about Kingsbury and I have mixed feelings. He’s an offensive genius but I’ve always doubted his ability to be an effective HC. He’s the ideal OC but he’s never impressed me as a HC.

As a QB developer, he’s great. He developed Mahomes at Tech, Baker Mayfield his freshman year at Tech, Johnny Manziel at A&M and Murray of the Ariz Cardinals. But with those talented QBs, he never won a conference championship at the college level and only made the playoff once at Arizona.

Which may mean he’s headed to Dallas, Lol!
Most coordinators do better as HCs, their second time around. He would need an OC that runs his system and allowed to be a HC...we could get Mack Brown, great guy and has the personality and smarts to manipulate Jerry

A guy like Kellen more will have Jerry and son making every call on and off the field during his learning curve. He'd really be a fool to come here. It's basically where coaches go to die. No HC went on to better things after leaving Jerry. Garrett can't even get work. If I was a young promising coach like Kellen Moore, I wouldn't go anywhere near this team. Much better off waiting for a situation where the owner and his child doesn't micromanage your every move.

KMoore.

The job is his if he wants it.

Our offense was #1 when he was the OC.

KMoore left and now look at us.
and we didn't advance any where in the playoffs with k moore than we have with mccarthy.
moore's offenses were stunted in the post season just as easily as mccarthy's.
i want nothing from the garrett tree.

You could be right on both counts.

I saw Mack Brown interviewed the other day and he looked 85 even though I think he’s 74. Anyway I’ve always respected Mack Brown but geez he’s old enough to remember our last SB, lol.

Kellen Moore wouldn't want to come here. He'd have a garbage QB situation, a dysfunctional organization and owner, and his players would be his boss.

Mike McCarthy is the best we can hope for. He sucks....but there's worse, and his trump-card is that he has no issues degrading himself to work for Jerry, and being publicly humiliated on a daily basis. Having no pride is making him millions, and there's great "fat-guy-food" in Dallas, so he can keep cramming more and more layers of blubber on

Kellen would be even more of a yes man coach than Garrett. The Joneses would run roughshod over him. There are much better coaches out there but Dallas won’t get one.

Fat Mike if those were the two choices. Like Dez said, we need to get rid of JG's stink for good. We don't need to bring one back to have it linger longer.

Simple question. We which one would you give a 4 year contract to ?
Neither.

Ben Johnson (Lions OC) or someone that will implement the Shanahan type run blocking scheme.

Dak's win percentage is very good when the Cowboys run the ball efffectively and stop the run.

MM is not coming back. he wants to leave as he has had enough. Jerry is going to move on from MM as he can't sell him anymore. his marketing shelf life is done.
he might go MM, if Philly does well in playoffs. or he might spend tad more and go with Vrabel but he is not the sexy name.

If I owned the team I would have Jerry Jones as head coach and let him pick the coordinators. His son Stephen as GM.

No one knows football better than they do.

KM will rightly avoid this crap hole of an organization.
Sans a Super Bowl appearance, unlikely this season (no disrespect to the Eagles’ season), Moore will not be getting offers to become a head coach in the NFL, yet.

The PAPPYDOG baby.................Yes, Mr. Jerry............Whatever you say, Mr.Jerry...........Can I carry your bag, Mr. Jerry........... More Salt for your Egg McMuffin Mr. Jerry?
