Mike McCarthy or Kellen Moore in 2025?

None. Philly fans are complaining about their offense not scoring. Where did we see that before??

Neither.

Ben Johnson (Lions OC) or someone that will implement the Shanahan type run blocking scheme.

Dak's win percentage is very good when the Cowboys run the ball efffectively and stop the run.
I agree with run the ball effectively, but our defense has never stopped the run.

I'd rather push Jimmy Johnson into the fountain of youth.

Neither…Dallas is in dire need of new coaching.
And why would KM want to leave an organization committed to winning for a dysfunctional circus?

It’s pick your poison. Neither one of them is going to bring any optimism for next season.

Damn sure not high school boy Kellen. He is not going to be the HC here, I wish people would stop with the fake, made up news stuff that they do

Well, I will definitely give Kellen a chance over McCarthy.

I fart in the general direction of all fans, red font included, who are doing their usual yearly fan rant on coaches.

Jerry could do this to them for another 30 years and they still be pitchforking whatever poor sap who would be head coaching this team in 2054.

When you see it, scroll past. It's not worth your time. These are the same people chanting the owner's name at training camp.

Most coordinators do better as HCs, their second time around. He would need an OC that runs his system and allowed to be a HC...we could get Mack Brown, great guy and has the personality and smarts to manipulate Jerry
I imagine Kellen would immediately bring over his close buddy Doug Musseinheimer (sp) as OC
but it will run thru Kellen's scheme and idealogy ...

Doesn't matter who has the title Jerry is still the prendender in the role

If I had to only pick between these two, gun to my head, I'm goin with KM. I still cant believe McCarthy wasnt fired after the GB playoff loss, and then all those early blowouts this year? heck no, go back to Wisconsin already! That said, I, like many, definitely dont see KM being HC material, he seems so bashful and maybe an introvert kinda? But I will take anybody over McCarthy at this point, and at least KM is young, really young. Maybe he'd turn out to be the next McVay or Tomlin.

And Kellen Moore was 20th. It's amazing how good talent can make coaching look easy, and bad talent can make that same coach look like a fool.
Last year Kellen's offensive talent with the Chargers was WHO? Their receivers all got hurt and Herbert missed 1/3 of the season. That...and they had one good o-lineman.

None of the above. But if I was betting I’d bet on MM. he’s cheap, Jerry is cheap
If there is one thing that Jerry is NOT...it's cheap. He would spend any amount of money to make the Cowboys a winner. The Cowboys are a bigger toy for him than his yacht, staaadyum, and some select members of his family.

JJ's vanity is heavily connected to this team at this point. No cap and he'd go wild on players.

He'd spend big on staff too provided of course...he has the control and the spotlight and gets credit. That rules out, of course, many of the top coaches.

In the end we agree that Jerry wont' spend big on a coach. But it dang sure ain't 'cuz he's cheap or doesn't want his toy team to succeed!

If mm does come back he can’t call plays or be the offensive coordinator.
Always good to have a Head Coach who is in charge of nothing.

McCarthy has been exposed as a fraud. Why anyone is considering bringing him back is insane to me. The message to the entire organization is that mediocrity is perfectly acceptable.

Simple question. We which one would you give a 4 year contract to ?
I vote neither, but if I was forced to pick between these two I think I would just keep rolling with Fat Mike.........................he at least has a ring, thanks to Rogers, but a ring nonetheless.

KM is just a younger version of Garrett..........can put up good offensive numbers if he has the talent, but is in no way shape or form head coach material.
