Honestly I can't remember the last time they've ever had a players only meeting.
I disagree. Other teams have had them, and it helped.tomlin is right. teams that have a players only meetings do not have real confidence in there coaches. i hope i am wrong in saying that.
majority of the time they are not a good sign.I disagree. Other teams have had them, and it helped.

This comes from a player that won 3 SB’s. Played on great teams with some great coaching.Nate said it best. “There’s no need for players only meetings. Every player needs to look at themselves and play better.”
No proof of that. Because most of the times it is way too late in the season to help.majority of the time they are not a good sign.
For sure Jazz. The issues go way beyond the players giving 100%. The only chance they have, however, is to give 100% every game and they didn’t do that against Tampa Bay. They’re losing confidence. This comes from a player that won 3 SB’s. Played on great teams with some great coaching.
So what he says may have merit on many topics. But for a group in turmoil, I don’t know if that means Nate is correct on this one.
He is right that players do need to look at themselves. But it is a team game. So they need to look at is as all of them being on the same page.
One meeting after a bad loss? That's not automatically alarming. It can be a sign that the players still care enough to confront the problem.majority of the time they are not a good sign.
You are. Because it’s “their”, not “there”tomlin is right. teams that have a players only meetings do not have real confidence in there coaches. i hope i am wrong in saying that.
Yeah, ‘meet’ yourself and play betterNate said it best. “There’s no need for players only meetings. Every player needs to look at themselves and play better.”
