What does this guy do? I mean really.. he is not a offensive coach. and with Dick LeBeau as the D corr and one of the best all time. he is not calling the defensive plays or overiding anything.

Best I can tell he has come clever things to say in the post game. Decides to go for it or not on 4th and short and chest bumps players.

But other than that I can not see that he does much.

Scowls, cusses, "gets in players faces", and has entertaining press conferences?

Wasn't aware Pittsburgh was required to publicly release the coaches work itinerary.

As mentioned above, he seems to have the same duties Cowher had. Works for them.

Of course you have a point here, but it was Jimmy's players who were left behind for Barry to coach in Dallas! Why come in and change things? Besides, i believe he had this philosophy @ Oklahoma, just as Jimmy did with the 'Canes.

He manages all aspects of the football team on the field and in practice.

Delegating is not a negative.

What did Landry do? He had coordinators and he delegated.

With two Super Bowl rings for Tomlin, I'm not sure why anyone would throw rocks at him.

You mean beside being a moderately successful actor best known for his portrayal of a character played by Wesley Snipes before him?
