They’re called HIGHLIGHTS for a reason. Let’s get some film of his LOWLIGHTS and then evaluate.
He may not have any...
In the same post. You said he was immobile then went on to say he was hitting deep WR running full speed. Which is it?
...the receivers are running full speed...he's slinging the ball to them timed perfectly like Marino from a stationary location back in the pocket...

Oh ok. Because I've seen him sprinting out running full speed and hitting WR in stride. But I keep hearing people say he' immobile

Weird pick for the Cowboys, though. We haven't had a statuesque QB since Bledsoe. Or Romo's broken back. Even when Romo was playing with a slipped disc against the Commanders, he still moved around.

For that matter, it's the same issue with Rush.

If we're building a team around a mobile QB without the greatest accuracy, why are his backups entirely the opposite types of players?

I wouldn't call Prescott not accurate... Yet. His first season showed very good accuracy. The last half of last season... Well not so much.

We'll see what this season brings.

As far as the mobility thing, the thought could be "Hey this mobility stuff isn't working out– Maybe we go back to a pocket passer, i.e. White."

Rush is a good athlete, but White's film reminds me of Dan Marino. He is immobile but it doesn't matter because he has a cannon and a quick release. He seems to be accurate as well...I haven't watched WKU extensively but he's hitting receivers deep running full speed on his highlights.
Everybody wants to act like he is immobile and has no pocket presence.

Most of the time there was no pocket present.

He is more mobile than Brady. let's watch the guy play.

Is he a better quarterback tho? Bledsoe was a damned good one in his prime. Let’s just be honest about it.

I doubt it, but we will see. I do like his accuracy and placement on the videos I watched, but he has a long way to go to be Bledsoe.

Good arm. Took a beating in college behind terrible offensive lines. Accurate. Small school.

Interesting project.
Correct and wrong. WKU has a fantastic Oline White’s junior year, but lost three starters fir his senior year. His protection was terrible that year.

Best part of Mike White is it ends the Cooper Rush talk.

Worst part of Mike White is he came from WKY where they drew plays up in the sand as opposed to an actual playbook and he will become the new Cooper Rush talk. Until people finally learn that it's like Favre; he's just the designated clipboard holder for now, and there will be a dozen more.

You really should have a clue before you post.

Most QBs can be accurate with a clean pocket and receivers with separation. Our pocket wasn't too clean, and his technique went to ****. "Accuracy" is really "accuracy under duress". After Atlanta, he seemed to feel always under duress, even when he wasn't.

It would be interesting to see the rollout/in pocket breakdown of Dak relative to other QBs. I bet Dak was still more accurate on the move relative to other QBs. His mobility is a plus. 6 TDs each year. His yardage and ypc went up.

Would be great if the coaches allowed genuine competition in training camp for the starting job - only way we'll see who's best.
