Lmao they were rushing 11 against Dak.

Hyper aware of pressure around him and lacks awareness to slide and find temporary shelter to make throw. Concern over pressure too often trumps ability to get through progressions. Must speed up the pace of his reads. Footwork is a mess.

slow reads and pocket awareness didn't have anything to do with him getting "tunnel vision" aka "the glitch"

I wouldn't say the Cowboys OL was horrible last year, but I would say they were inconsistent and at times well below average. Pass protection was a little better than run blocking but both did not meet expectations. Smith's injury was clearly part of the problem. Smith did not play to the level we are accustomed and, honestly, I think Travis Frederick had an off year too. Perhaps that was because of the LG spot being unsettled.

Going into this off-season the OL was an absolute area of need whether Cooper re-signed or not.,

I just hope Kellen doesn't hold grudges against Rush (for stealing his back-up QB job) and creates unfair competition between the two QB during TC and Preseason.

You know? Depending on how well Dak turns out, White could also end up being great trade bait. With how QBs are needed in this league, we could get some serious picks for him if it turns out Dak's 2017 campaign was a fluke.

Yea. You’re right. But according to some people Dak was the cause of it all. He was bad all by himself. SMH. And now we have a 5th round division 2 Quarterback who has never played against top competition who’s gonna come in and take Dak’s job. Hahahahaha. I wonder what in Hell gives these people the assumption that it’s true.

Not a bad comparison.

But I think White will show better accuracy than Bledsoe.

Weird pick for the Cowboys, though. We haven't had a statuesque QB since Bledsoe. Or Romo's broken back. Even when Romo was playing with a slipped disc against the Commanders, he still moved around.

For that matter, it's the same issue with Rush.

If we're building a team around a mobile QB without the greatest accuracy, why are his backups entirely the opposite types of players?

Rush is a good athlete, but White's film reminds me of Dan Marino. He is immobile but it doesn't matter because he has a cannon and a quick release. He seems to be accurate as well...I haven't watched WKU extensively but he's hitting receivers deep running full speed on his highlights.

They’re called HIGHLIGHTS for a reason. Let’s get some film of his LOWLIGHTS and then evaluate.

Heard he lacks pocket awareness, big time.

Read that too. Probably will be the next Brock Osweiller but we can all hope for a great find. QB's who get the crap beat out of them with bad olines usually have scars they can't recover from.

We'll see....

In the same post. You said he was immobile then went on to say he was hitting deep WR running full speed. Which is it?

Unless he was drafted to compete with Dak in case he falters, I still don't understand the pick.

It's funny that you mention that, I only saw him play one game, but I was thinking that he has that statue look like Bledsoe.
