Mike Woicik to blame for bad back epidemic?

In a game that costs so much to play, and takes so much to win, accountability has to be strict!

With the so many spinal injuries it really begs the question. Could all this be avoided by a regiment of strengthening the posterior chain and core through regular exercise?

The injuries are huge:

Tony Romo - Herniated disc
Tyron Smith - Bulging disc
Dan Bailey - disc issue
Demarcus Lawrence - disc issue

Maybe Mike Woicik needs to be held accountable.

This team has a history of this. Does anyone remember the hamstring epidemic that was pretty much cured with the firing of Joe Juraszek?

Tapper, preexisting cervical issue from birth that nobody knew about ....... Guilty!!!!!

Backs a funky, not much you can do other than stretching and core development, which these guys do in spades.

the better question is, who's to blame for giving him that face?

Did NE have back injuries issues while he was there?

The buck stops with him. I'm not sure if he's responsible. Things I've read, though, lead me to believe his methods may be outdated or there are newer methods that seem to produce. I don't have any facts and may be wrong. It's just an impression I get from reading different things.

Remember when we had the "epidemic" of hamstring injuries a few years ago? There's always a sinister theory to explain it all.

It's a violent game. Romo by the way said a couple years ago that he had the original back injury since high school. It progressively got worse from playing football.

Sometimes just when I start to think we aren't a bunch of dumb Americans...I read something like the OP.

Guess what?
80 million Americans have back problems and most of them don't even play football or have other occasions to collide with 300 pounders running in 4.8.

We'll forgive you for being silly. Just forget you ever posted it. We will too. We promise.

Begging the question isn't an argument. Any mechanism about workouts or we just going for the guilt by association thing?
