Mike Zimmer vs Jason Garrett

cliches are not a plan and I want names. There are coordinators that would do worse than what Garrett who has been slightly over .500 here.

I'm fine with making bold moves given a calculated risk. Going with no plan at all like you posit here is just recklessness.

there are 31 OCs and 31 DCs in the league.
the obvious one is go after the patriots OC to fix the offense.
then let him pick his staff.
you also have the eagles DC.
2 obvious options.

actually i am saying he cannot even succeed with 6 probowlers.
what he is good for now is tanking.
leadership, when they reach a certain point, implodes, and it feels like we are there.

So you're another romantic. When I read "feel" then I see emotional and thus irrational bias.

Martin, Lee, Zeke, and Tyron are 4 of those 6 "probowlers" and they have all missed significant snaps these past few games. Less feel more think please.

you are frontrunning and extremely short on anything resembling analysis.

Schwarz was terrible as a HC with the Lions already. No thanks. We have been discussing the failures out of Belichicks coaching tree already.

Crennell, McDaniel, Magini, Groh, and Weis have all been NFL coaching failures performing much worse than your whipping boy.

oh yes they have failed but so has belicheat.
failing once before does not guarantee failure.
garrett's performance, particuarly this year, is damning.
you are simply too scared to take risks.
but inaction means we are stuck with someone who is incapable of making quick decisive adjustments or manage the clock.

no, zeke, dak, martin, tfred, irving and dlaw.

i give u credit for claiming the DL players were inhouse, but blame for refusal to bring in highend fa to take us over the hump.

The four I mentioned are actually incumbent probowlers in fact not your revisionist interpretation.

You were wrong about the pass rush. The high end CB you were pining for have not panned out either.

i am being consistent.
probowlers are not named until later in the season, right?

It has nothing to do with consistency. There is no real basis for your claim.

Zeke and Martin have missed time. Dak has crapped the bed.

The DLaw and Irving examples should be a lesson to your poorly conceived schemes of the past. You felt the pass rush would doom us and we needed to go 3-4 recall? Like I said eariler: less feel more think.

no, i admit when i am wrong whereas you simply gloss over your errors.
dak crapped in the bed after the zeke was suspended.
your fear of the unknown is preventing you from seeing staying the course will not get you to the promiseland.
unless ur idea of the promiseland is only making the playoffs instead of the ultimate prize.
you cannot always make a decision with perfect information.
you cannot predict what will be available in the offseason.

Remember when we complained about Zimmer when he was here.
Sigh, guess we now know it can always be worse.

yes it can.
but paralysis gets nothing done.
have a nice chat, but i got a 6 hour drive to SF.

In fairness his kicker missed a chip shot FG at the end of regulation that would have beat Seattle a couple of years ago.

Romo dropped a FG place hold. Parcells didn't get the benefit of the doubt when that happened.

2013 DT Floyd, CB Xavier Rhodes
2014 LB Barr
2015 CB Trae Waynes, LB Kendricks DE Hunter

It helps when you concentrate your drafts first few picks on top defensive talent.

No doubt.

Zimmer was always steady as DC.

Parcells made the change to 3-4 and that NEVER TOOK.

We drafted guys like Bobby Carpenter and watched as one of our 2 number ones, Speer got egg rolled.

Only DeMarcus Ware was productive in that scheme.

Roy Williams at SS ?

See ya.

Zimmer was quality coaching and should have remained.

He would probably be our HC eventually.

But this ownership has screwed the pooch with it's decisions about coaching.

Don't get me started..

next I will have to hijack the thread and ask about Sean Payton vs. Garrett as HC.

I love hindsight.

3-4 worked under Wade. Only time it worked in Dallas. Wade has made his 3-4 work everywhere he's gone. Truly deserving label of defensive genius.
