So you saying Sanders is our star RB, I’m confused here with you lol. In the case of Sanders, yes fresh legs is much better. Do you watch football?then why diont teams bench their star RB every game in the 2nd half to bring in "Fresh legs?" I mean tey are aways better?
Do you actually watch any football?
Only thing is, I'd rather make that trade for a decent LB. Sanders was so blah that his injury doesn't even hurt.Maybe look at a swap for a WR hangry team that has a back available?
Make Tolbert available with Mingo coming back.
That’s exactly what you’ve been doing in this entire post. But hey, you be you and I’ll be me.You must be referring to his first carry, that awesome 6-yard run because the next three carries yielded a combined 1 yard.
He's exciting to watch as a kick returner but he looked tentative every time he got the ball on offense. He would take too long to commit. He didn't look to have much power, if any. He didn't just get tackled, her was tossed around like a rag doll.
Don't get me wrong, I want him to succeed, of course. However, even though he is a RB, he needs a little development.
Jayden Blue seems like one of those RBs that has track speed but lacks the instinctive qualities of a RB.
I think it will take another season before we see real productivity from him. The elite RB typically display their talents in their rookie season but i have known of some that need a year to acclimate to the pro game.
I'm not trying to belittle Blue, I hope he has a very successful career with the Cowboys. I'm also no expert in player analysis, I'm just basing my opinion on the observations of a longtime fan that has seen dozens of RBs pass through the Cowboys rosters.
So Williams should get all the touches?so we should Mafah and Blue some of Williams touches?
That would have been fun to watchcam skataboo backing up javonte might’ve been fun huh
Right now, Jayden is sporting Deuce numbers, 4 carries for 7 yards. I didn't see anything impressive.
He may be fast but
That would have been fun to watch
I bet you were one of many claiming Deuce Vaughn was going to be good.I bet you were one of the many that was saying our backfield was utter trash before the season started also.
I never said Deuce was going to be good. Just like I never said any unproven player is going to be good. I dont predict the future on draft picks, because it akes one look foolish. Trying to make it like they are all knowing.I bet you were one of many claiming Deuce Vaughn was going to be good.
Javonte has been an amazing surprise, I have no problem admitting I was wrong about him. But let’s not pretend like we can just throw any RB in the lineup and get the same results.
The “we like our guys”/every player the cowboys draft is going to be good mentality has failed over and over again.
he should get what he has been geting, the lions share of all the touches has been his with spot relief for a breather here and there. So Williams should get all the touches?
im not sure what you are reading to come to that conclusion. So you saying Sanders is our star RB, I’m confused here with you lol. In the case of Sanders, yes fresh legs is much better. Do you watch football?
None of that had anything to do with our current backup running back situation…which was the ONLY thing my original post was aboutI never said Deuce was going to be good. I predict easy things, like Pickens was going to be a stud this year.
I never said Jevonta was going to be anything, because there was no way of knowing. BUt I will give credit when it is do, and our front office pretty much was giving him the job from day 1, and they were right.
And you missed my point. We've no clue if our current backup rbs will suck, or be fantastic. You think the bucks knew that bucky Irving was going to be a stud when the used a day 3 draft picknon him? I think he was a 5th rd pick.None of that had anything to do with our current backup running back situation…which was the ONLY thing my original post was about
