he flashed a few times against Arizona but for the most part he's been MIA this season. The regression in our OL play has probably been the biggest disappointment this year, but Collins has gotta be a close 2nd. This was a guy who was hyped up all preseason as being our breakout candidate and the one to finally fill that elusive 3T for us.

What's going on with this guy? Is he battling through an injury I missed? He's been getting mauled the past 2 weeks.

i know he has 2.5 sacks so the pass rush skillset is there, but you just feel there would be a bigger impact from him...at least in the running game. seen him get spun around quite a bit

Everyone on defense looks terrible... yes dlaws stats look great for his Free agency bid but everyone else has been terrible

Missed training camps with hammys for rooks, soph slumps, jones looking like a JAG, lee hurt, jaylon well...., and the rest of the dline splitting time from the tub or suspension list

He'll be a lot better if Marinelli didn't rush 3 all the time. I hate that Leo package. It also gives the Defense a passive mentality about not being the ones forcing the action. Part of the reason why the turnovers have been lagging these past few years.

We have 3 legit pass rushers now. Please give them more chances not more double teams.

I think Dallas had a good opp to bring in new coords, *remember we were losing Linehan according to some here* and we blew that. That plus the plan they stuck to really hard for the team to come to grips that they would basically have to lose most of the first half of the season.

I'm not sure what's up with Collins. He was pretty good his rookie year and we heard all camp he was giving our interior OL problems, including Martin. Last time I heard of a player giving Martin problems it was Aaron Donald at the Senior Bowl.

Maybe he's nursing an injury or something.

He's basically castrated him w/ this 3 man front. Forcing him into half the snaps...and twice as many double teams....that he would face in a 4-3.

??? He had 5.5 sacks as a rookie and a 3 tech at that, with no training camp. 6 or 7 sacks usually gets you a pro bowl vote or two at DT...what are you talking about? He's going to be a big part of this line, he's just struggling with them sending only 3 on many plays.

This defense is designed to get the 3-tech single blocking but Collins is getting double-teamed consistently.

They didn't even have starting 1-tech Paea against the Packers and used Irving as the other DT which often had Collins in more of a 1-tech role. They used Price some but he was on the Packers practice squad last year.

When you play a gap penetrating style, you're going to be out of position and off-balance on some run plays. The Cowboys plan against the Packers was to focus on the pass and make run defense an after-thought.

Some of the sacks the DEs have got were due to Collins helping prevent the QB from stepping up in the pocket to avoid the rush.

With that said, he has not flashed as much this year as he did towards the end of last year and in training camp.

Last year, McClain finally stayed healthy and showed his worth.
