he flashed a few times against Arizona but for the most part he's been MIA this season. The regression in our OL play has probably been the biggest disappointment this year, but Collins has gotta be a close 2nd. This was a guy who was hyped up all preseason as being our breakout candidate and the one to finally fill that elusive 3T for us.

What's going on with this guy? Is he battling through an injury I missed? He's been getting mauled the past 2 weeks.

huge disappointment so far. Gets moved laterally too easily. What's devastating is he plays possibly most important position in Marinelli defense. Very concerning. I would go as far as saying Dallas might need to address position early in draft.

the sad part is, i dont even blame the players yet. until we get a coach who knows the strenghts of our players and uses them correctly, we dont know what we have in every player. id love to blame some, but i just cant.

He is only a disappointment if you bought into the hype.

Both are suspect. The talent and the scheme assembled to supposedly fit the scheme.

Well, we did see him emerge late in the 2016 season. It's not like the expectations were solely based upon hype, it's a disappointment because he's regressed from what we saw in 2016.

Emerge? He played well as a rookie and people gave him way too much credit for the QB sacks.

We see the same syndrome with David Irving. Nice game or two and suddenly he has "arrived".

Even as inconsistent Irving is, he has taken over a game here and there at least, especially facing Green Bay and Tampa Bay. Nothing close for Collins.

A lot of people around here bought into the hype and it cannot be denied that the words "Sapp" were whispered, which was laughable then and even moreso now.
