Milton reasons why the trade to the Cowboys was a blessing

At the end of the day, he gave honest answers. Many of us would have worded them a little differently, but he's young. Nothing to be concerned about IMO........

Love these people crying. If he said he came here to compete they would be in tears. If he sounds like a good teammate and gives credit, more tears. So comical listen to these online experts

He seems to be a good guy. Im a Vols fan and am well aware of Milton. He has a cannon for an arm and is a quick elusive runner.
The issue is his accuracy and decision-making. He became the starter at Tennessee after transferring from Michigan. Turnovers and inaccuracy issues caused him to be benched in favor of Hendon Hooker.
After Hooker graduated Milton became the starter again but never grasped the fast paced big play offense like Hendon had done.
Joe has the physical tools but has yet to show he can be an elite or even above avg starter in college or the NFL.

Oh boy......here we go (LOL)
I appreciate player honesty and being themselves. I personally don't have a problem with this but understand how/why many fans will process it differently but I'm pretty sure, like most players, Milton doesn't care.

Here’s what he really meant:
  • Cozy up to Jerry and cash in
  • Remind Cowboys fans what real arm talent looks like
  • Be ready to step in when Dak inevitably gets hurt
  • And if Dak ever goes down, never give the job back

Let’s be honest—that’s the playbook.

Or be the typical one read and bolt running QB who never finds long term success in the NFL

Was he suppose to say, I think i will get the opportunity to see the field here due to the high probability that Dak will miss some games because of injury.

He sounds like his priorities are about being comfortable. I realize he has to play nice in the press but anyone who thinks Dak has something worthwhile to teach - other than how to extract the most money possible out of a team - needs his head examined.
I liked the Milton experiment idea...but have to agree. All this sounds self-serving...and learning from Dak might actually be the best thing he said...which is YIKES!!!
