I am not suggesting the Cowboys should ride into the 2024 season without any WRs. I am suggesting, with foresight, the Cowboys might have been better off trading CeeDee for a first round pick before the draft, then using the pick to take a WR in a WR deep draft. And instead of signing CeeDee for $35 million, use that money to sign 2 additional WRs giving the Cowboys 3 capable WRs plus Cooks and whoever else they have to compete. The question is, is it better to have 1 star WR and 3 scrubs behind him, or 3 good WRs, but no top 10 WR. In my mind this is about the efficiency of the money they spend.

Where we stand today, the Cowboys only have 2 choices. Extend CeeDee, or let him enter free agency in 2025 with no compensation. Of course they can franchise tag him but I don't know if that is a long term solution.
A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Those aren't just words, they are the truth. Pay CeeDee and hope your other WRs step up. Cooks and Tolbert better be better.

Those rankings consist of a few areas. One of those areas that affect their rankings is the ability to get open.

Now let me ask you this.

1. What quarterback who has ever played can control how a receiver run routes or get open. How does a quarterback control the footwork and technique of another individual?

I'm not saying Dak doesn't affect his receivers rankings..... but Dak has been a perennial top 10 quarterback and last year he became All Pro and a MVP candidate WITHOUT the help of a good running game and only one good receiver (according to this video).

2. Now how does a quarterback who negatively affect his receivers lead the league in touchdowns (I believe) be in the top 10, become an All-Pro and a MVP candidate without a running game?

We all know Dak isn't elite, but if you could answer those questions for me I would be very appreciative. Please don't deflect, bring up something else, give a response that has zero to do with the questions I asked you.....

Please just answer those questions for me. Thanks in advance.
Dez Bryant ruined
Amari ruined
CD got blasted on this board until this past year. Now Dak clowns want to take credit for the kids hard work having to make the most of Chokotas 6 yard curls.

Smfh ! You can tell with TC days ways that their falling apart mentally since their hero hasn’t been resigned

The real problem during the playoffs has been the defense. The real problem during the playoffs has always been the defense. We’ve had playoff games where we generated enough offense to win but we can’t stop anyone. We’ve allowed opponents to control the ball, limiting our offensive opportunities. Go back and watch the Rams playoff game in 2018. They had two backs run for over 100 yards. We’ve lost two playoff games under Dak where we scored 30 or more points. In our last two home playoff losses we registered ZERO sacks. We forced only one turnover in those two games.
I didn’t know Chokota played D ?

If I'm inclined to put the blame on any one factor that prevents the Dallas Cowboys from being a true contender, it's an ineffective front office that prefers to blame the coaches and players that they hire for their lack of competent management. That's where it all begins. The problem is also compounded by the fact that they're unaccountable and aren't going away anytime soon. You can't fire those who do all the hiring to start with.
Oxymoron post.

Front office made good enough decisions to field a team that went 12-5

Dak’s chokes when the lights get brights. Dak apologists shift from his mvp narrative to what a crappy FO.

Smfh !

No. Dak just needs a running game in the playoffs and a defense that's designed to stop the run and doesn't quit on him when things get tough.
Do the Dak Lickers even watch the game ?

The D is human. It’s hard to consistently get off the field if your tired. Have you ever noticed Dak starts so slow , many 3 and outs and uses maybe 20 seconds of the play clock ( stat bandito ). Watch the Rush games. He used the entire clock. The D always came out rested. And the Chokota fans wonder why ??

Meanwhile Stat Banditito Chokota audibles his own #. Uses. 15-20 seconds max off the play clock. Goes 3 and out. Gives up pick 6’s. And the apologists point to the D

Kids !!!

The defense failed miserably in the playoff game vs. the Packers. It's a failure that can't be denied. The FO's failures in FA persist, as well. Dak is a part of the problem in the playoffs that doesn't go away, also. There's a lack of confidence for Dak in the games vs. good teams but just one man isn't responsible -- there's your oxymoron. The NFC East is a weak division that assures the Cowboys of four regular season wins each year. Wake up.
