They control Mingo for more years, they will probably give him a long look to see if he can win the job

Mingo would be a solid addition to the offense to go along with Lamb, Pickens, Turpin, and Tolbert.

You know exactly what you have in tolbert. An avg, at best, NFL wide receiver on the last year of his deal. He was given big playing time last year and was nothing special.

They gave up a 4th for Mingo and he was only here half a season and he didnt play with your starting qb. Mingo has this year and next year on a cheap rookie deal. NO WAY is Mingo not going to be on this roster.

Im not saying Tolbert wont make the team, but Mingo is definitely making this team.
 
I'm of the mindset of trading Tolbert for a NT or RB at some point. WR3 isn't an important position in Dallas if everyone stays healthy. So, I'm all for keeping Mingo and the other guys behind him because they can play STs, and are under contract for a couple more years.
 
Give me Jalen Cropper and call it a day.

Mingo to practice squad. Nobody will pick him up.

Don't forget Campbell, Flournoy and Holden too. To me, all better prospects than Mingo.

why are they better candidates?
 
Tolbert. Steady progress since a disappointing rookie season. I expect he will continue the upward trend and find a spot in a dangerous WR trio. I just don't see Mingo unseating him, but if he does manage to contribute, with Ferguson, Blue, and Sanders also able to make plays, the passing game will be dynamic, and potentially good enough to carry this team to a division title.

I agree. Tolbert is just a guy. Mingo has a lot of potential
 
Im rooting for CeeDee and Pickens to both stay healthy so that I dont need to worry about either one of these two jags.

They’re gonna push Mingo since he’s under contract thru 2026
