Travis Frederick is a bonafied Bad ***. He is the most impressive center I've seen in a good long time, and that includes both Pouncy's.


Spend a high pick on Brockers? No problem, Frederick will just turn him and throw him.

Sounds like the intensity in minicamp has ratcheted up a notch or two. Crawford and Frederick are both tough hombres, so it's not exactly surprising they'd lock horns. Some good competitive things are in evidence -- let's hope it continues and our guys benefit. It's certainly good to see Carter and Claiborne are looking fit and doing better.

Last year Frederick said it was fun to get paid to hurt people. Martin's nickname in college was the butcher. I really think our OL is going to play with an attitude. You have to think that the guys picking the players are looking for players with an attitude because most of the defensive picks are that way too.

He did improve his pass protection by the last half of the season. That play was in the second game of his rookie season and he didn't have many like it.

There is no doubt that his run blocking was ahead of his pass blocking, but he had pretty much shored that up by the end of the season.
