Maybe so. But it probably wouldn't have mattered with Flo going down.

Ultimately it was this injury that really killed the line and then the whole team.

IMO Columbo got inserted into the lineup too early. You don't go screwing with line chemistry down the stretch.

Didn't want to hurt his feelings. He might quit.

Oh wait...

Colombo had the worst game of his career, yes.

Coming off a broken leg the coaches shouldn't have let him play. Clearly Free was doing better...

The late hit on Farve was terrible. If he doesn't want to get hit don't try to block.
He wasn't blocking, if he was their wouldn't have been a flag, besides the guy lead with his helmet.

In reality, if we had started Free, the game wouldn't have went exactly how it did and Flo wouldn't have been injured like he did. Of course, some other mishap may have happened.

Sarcasm just doesn't work sometimes.

My bad...I thought you were the same poster as the guy earlier complaining about calls.

That's what should have happened.

It was clear cheap shot by the DE on Favre. It was the RIGHT call.

So if Free starts Flo doesn't get hurt?

How does Free at right tackle mean Flo doesn't get hurt at left tackle?

Besides once you disrupt the space-time continuum...I see butterflies dead all over the field.

If one event changes early on in the game, the entire chain of events that led to his injury doesn't happen.

Yep, Heck I don't remember Torrin Tucker or Rob Petiti being that bad in a single game. Columbo was absolutely brutal and pathetic, injury or not.

I'm hoping next year that this organization will play the best player every Sunday. Barber should have been demoted after week 2.

That little bubble screen is becoming the default answer to a blitz.

I clearly remember a Vikings DE pile driving Romo to the ground.

Do I really have to say it was a no call?

Yeah he was easily the weak link in the 1st quarter. Flozell did a superb job on Allen and we ran well on the first couple of drives too.

BTW, I don't think either of these teams beat Indianapolis.

That will never happen when you have an owner/GM who is trying to validate his decisions, ego and expenditures

Colombo gave up the sack in the first drive that led to the turnover. If he doesn't give that up, perhaps we gain some yardage on that play and go 3-0. At that point, we kick off and they get the ball at different field position. Maybe they drive a little further or we get the ball back at different field position on our second drive and we call plays differently. And so on and so on.
