Last week the Vikes were in THEIR dome. Now they are in somebody ELSE's dome. It makes a big difference when the o-line can't get off the ball first.

Amazing isnt it? Its hard to watch this and not be ticked at JG. Sorry but I thought it was obvious that were running well off tackle and kept waiting and waiting for JG to use it to run a play action pass but it never happened. Hopefully he will learn a few lessons from last weeks game and get better.

Seems like play action should be part of the game plan every week.

IMO Columbo got inserted into the lineup too early. You don't go screwing with line chemistry down the stretch.

The bottom line is a balanced offense is still the easiest way to have success on offense. It's too easy for elite pass rushers to tee off on the QB if they aren't afraid of the run. It just so happens that the Saints have no elite pass rushers so the Vikes don't have to run. It's a shame though that they have AP and continue to ignore him even though they could be chewing the clock and keeping the ball outta Brees' hands. It's the reason they aren't winning.

I like the way this game is playing out. The Saints are keeping up with them, but their defense is taking a beating. If this ends up going to the wire in scoring, I like the Vikings defense to be more rested at the end of the game.
