Misplaced Linehan Rage

We need another Troy Aikman. Can't find him if we won't spend draft capital on the most important position on the team.

Compare the first 2 seasons of Aikman and Dak.

Aikman was not very good those seasons.

So this is more or less another Dak excuse? Most want to get rid of Garrett so again another Dak creative excuse you're using?

I think it's time to let Garrett go. His coaching style is about 23yrs past it's prime. Dak is no pro bowler but deserves a shot under a better coach. This offense would sink a lot of QBs and has been predictable before Dak was even a starter in college.

I just ask myself if a guy like Andy Reid Sean Peyton or even a Sean Mcvey could Get more more out of dak? I think the answer is yes.

With a decent defense dak could be effective and less this team.... I think he makes enough plays.

Garret’s offenses have been simplistic since he was the o coordinator. Incomplete pass on first down?.... I would venture to say 95% of the time after it’s a run. If I can see that... and you can see it then sure as hell the other team can.

I dislike Garrett and Linehan as much as the next fan (if not more in the case of Garrett), but has anyone given thought that the offense (particularly the passing game) is oversimplified and predictable as a byproduct of the QB?

The reality is we don't have a guy with arm talent back there that's comfortable sitting in the pocket, making his progressions and throwing receivers open.

Instead, our passing game is stripped down to predominantly quick reads, comeback routes where a receiver is running to a spot waiting for the ball.

I would also add if your QB has to be rolled-out or use PA to try to create throwing windows and separation for receivers so your QB can feel comfortable making a throw, you're severely handicapping your offense.

I want Garrett and Linehan gone today, but replacing him doesn't make Dak more accurate, poised or savvy.

Two things can be equally true: 1) Garrett and Linehan are part of the problem and 2) Dak is not the answer

No its not. Its was already like this even before Dak stepped in. How many times have you heard Romo say "kill, kill"?

Romo consistently changed the plays to his liking. Never really paid much attention to Garrett's playbook.

If Andy Reid turned Alex Smith close to the league MVP, he can turn Dak into a pretty good football player also. So can Peyton.

yes he has no balance..we dont run enough on 1st downs when it surprises people or on the Muther Fn goal line.. the throws inside th 5 have wore me out.. Emmitt made his living getting the last 12345 yards for score.. Zeke could but Scot FN Linsanity has no idea , he gets cute this is what happens.. you dont abandon running on all 1st downs but he runs on 1st down more then anyone in the league..
this past game we did try to run inside the 5 and we failed...then we went to pass....emmitt smith and the team executed, in fact there is plenty of quotes from those players that we ran only a few plays but we executed flawlessly and the defenses couldn't stop us.

having a better team of coaches will help the QB considerably, play to his strengths.
