As each day goes on, I get more and more convinced that it's all gonna stop for the Sooners on Saturday.
Everyone expects OU to win this game, and that's when they like to lose.
Missouri has everything to gain. OU has everything to lose. This is Missouri's last chance at playing in a big time bowl game. After this season, it's back to middle of the pack in the North division.
Bob Stoops has defeated Gary Pinkel 5 years in a row. The Sooners stuffed their title hopes and made Chase Daniel a joke in the conference.
Plus, no Ryan Reynolds and No Box? It's gonna be a close game, but Missouri will win this game and the Longhorns will be right back in place to win it all.

Give it a rest, fellow Sooners. We won, we're in the National Championship. Be happy with that... no need to gloat over the Horns and their fans tonight.

Regardless of the Tiger's recent past, they do have a potent offense and OU's ability to do what they did is impressive.
I personally now believe we have big time fight on our hands. Florida is not gonna stomp OU, nor is OU gonna stomp them, obviously.
I can't wait for this. After two years of that Big 10 garbage, we're gonna get a battle of true titans.
Go Gators.
There's the past Sooner BCS performances lurking in the back of my head that kinda makes me think something extremely humiliating may happen to OU. lol

Heck - even I pull for Texas in the NC game and BCS bowl. I want the Big12 to represent. That is why.

CATCH17;2465636 said:So your conference can have something to cling onto since you guys can't get it done in the BCS bowls?
I smell 5 straight BCS losses on its way.

Come on man. Mizzou is awful.
Hank Johnson;2465637 said:Screw that.. I don't wanna see OU win another title. If I have to hear them run around boasting "8" and wearing "got 8?" shirts I think I"ll puke like Mike Gundy at a press conference.
7 is enough, dangit.
Any other team in the Big 12, but not OU..
Danny White;2465683 said:I feel the same way... I was initially going to pull for Texas out of Big XII fraternity, but I don't think I can do it.
Hank Johnson;2465646 said:Yeah, they are. I just figured they'd expose the middle of the field since OU was lacking Box and Reynolds.
Oh well. I fell over drunk in the kitchen at the start of the 3rd quarter so I don't know much of what happened in the second half other than a Sooner beatdown on a stupid North division winner.
Stupid north.
What makes you say that? If we took all of OU's opponents and put them in one big division, there would be a 2-way tie for first place between TX and TX Tech. And since we all know head-to-head is the only tiebreaker that should ever be used, Texas Tech is better than Texas by virtue of having beat them. So TX Tech was Oklahoma's toughest opponent and that was a game OU won. By a considerable margin too, IIRC.CATCH17;2465800 said:Texas is OU's most tough opponent and they lost.
