You assume the Twins would have held on even if they score another run. I would not make that assumption. The call was bad but the Twins have nobody but themselves to blame. They went into the 9th with a two run lead and they couldn't hold it.

actually I'm a Rangers fan but now it's just anyone but Boston. I just think it's funny that after Boston players start getting named/caught in the roids deal all the sudden "it's time to move on" and nobody cares anymore.

Oh, there's no doubt about it... the umpiring over the past week (including the play-in game) has been absolutely atrocious. It's a joke and an embarrassment to the league.

Twins once again, lost a lead late. No excuse on this one that I can see. If anything, the strike zone was all over the place for the Yankees. Be that as it may, this game was there for the Twins to win. Bases loaded with no outs and they still lost.
