I’ll be glad when the Yankees leave :muttley:

I'm guessing the Yankees might meet the Astros in the playoffs again this Oct, unsure atm, but that's when the wins will really count for something. This 3-1 series was bittersweet. Was nice to take 3 out of 4 in their backyard, but if this series was in the Bronx id probably be a little upset about that one loss. :flagwave:

The real shame is i haven't been to the new Yankee Stadium yet. :lmao:

Ugh, I feel your pain sweet pea. I've never been to Texas to see our 'Boys. Only in enemy territory, Philly.

But, on a brighter note, there was a @waldoputty sighting earlier in Kentucky today.:lmao2:

Mets have lost five in a row and look lifeless again. Looks like they shot their wad in the 1st two weeks. The front office will probably start a campaign to undermine Cespedes so they can have a reason to move up Tebow to the big leagues and start making some money. Bill Veeck would probably be nodding in agreement if he was still around.

I am tired of their HR hitting strategy, we need some guys who can hit for average, especially with RISP. It doesn't help that the pitching went downhill fast either. It is Thor followed by a half of DeGrom then pure suckage :(

3rd no-hitter for the season... I dunno, but 9 innings of no-hit ball doesn't seem to be that big a deal anymore.

Right now the overall MLB batting average is .244, which is the 6th lowest since 1871 and the 4 lowest since 1900.

Strikeouts are now occurring 22.7% of the time which is a record.

I just don't consider it a fun game to watch... A 95+ starter goes through the lineup a couple of times and then 2-3 guys come in from the bullpen and throw even harder.

Damn Mets are just ridiculous. Cabrera hits a double and then the Mets bat out of order for an automatic out. Geesh, I havent seen that since oh I don't know MY GRANDSONS LITTLE LEAGUE GAME!!!!!!
