Obvious PI on Jenkins there. Might have caused Green to strain something there, Green is limping.

Only if they can get a TD though...I don't think a FG will be enough.....
But running game has stalled on them....

Dalton had to see that DB in the coverage over the top; he tried to force that in over the middle to #81 anyway. STupid.

If he's smart, Mc-a-doodle-Doo has Eli stop throwing on every down and starts running the ball, killing the clock.

What do you mean reviewed by who? The same officials perform the review whether it's initiated by the officials themselves, or by a HC.

Look at it this way- if a play is ruled a turnover or TD on the field, it's automatically subject to review. These plays can't be "challenged" by either team (since they're already subject to review).

If a play is not ruled a TD or turnover, and one of the team's think it should be reviewed, they have to "challenge" the ruling.

As far as why the Bengals didn't challenge the non-catch...that would be a question for Lewis. Guessing he thought the call would stand.

What I mean is is the play reviewed by some faceless person in the booth or the official on the field? Under what circumstances does the person in the booth just confirm it and when do they ask the official on the field to go under the hood? The booth official can confirm it but not overturn it?

My understanding is teams are supposed to have assistant coaches up in the booth that watch these TV replays and call down and alert the coaches on the sideline when they should challenge something. I know we have that. I assumed the Bengals do too.

Well yea, that's understood. Ultimately, the HC has to initiate the challenge though (assuming the play is challenge-able). That's the point I was trying to make to the other poster.
