MNF, Skins Versus Eagles

I love MNF. Always have. It is going to be hard on me to watch tonight. I can't stand either team. I can't stand Tony Kornheiser.

Tirico and Jaws I can stomach, but is Jaws going to be an Eagles homer tonight if they are winning? I almost don't want to know. I already know Kornheiser is going to try and counteract that by trying to make everything about the Skins.

I should put on a movie instead, but I can't. It's Monday Night Football.

On the one hand I'd love to see the Eagles be 0-2. On the other hand the meltdown by Skins fans would be entertaining as hell. It always is.

I can't see the Skins winning this game. I don't think they have a prayer. The Eagles will be looking to rebound from last week's Special Teams disaster. I expect a beat down, and in truth, I won't enjoy it like I normally would seeing a Skins beatdown, because it's by the freaking Eagles and the last thing I want from them is confidence.

I would LOVE to see Philly lose b/c not only would they start 0-2, but it would be a pleasure as well to see their fans meltdown.

The perfect game would be for both teams to suck and really look bad, and have it be a 3-0 win for one of them.

I hate the Eagles with a passion.

However for me unless there is a definite benefit Dallas angle, I want the Skins to lose and lose badly if possible.

Of course if they lose really really bad, I will feel bad for the few quality skin posters on this board such as SkinsAndTerps...for about a milisecond. Actually, I wont feel bad at all.

Analytically, I think I want the Skins to win. I don't think emotionally I could possibly bring myself to cheer for them. But I don't fear the Skins at all. They are trash. I do fear the Eagles. And every game they lose now will be that much more important at the end of the season come playoff time.

I don't think the worthless trash Skins stand a chance, and I can't possibly bring myself to cheer for them, but from the Cowboys perspective, I think it is best for them for the Skins to win.

I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the game and I think Dallas wins no matter the outcome. Dallas is either in 1st by themselves or Philly drops down to 0-2 either way it is good for the Cowboys

I don't think the skins will be able to score that many against the eagles. Wouldn't surprise me if the eagles beat them 31-6.....

I think the Eagles will confuse the heck out of Campbell with blitzes, blitzes and more blitzes.... Long night for JC.

As long as they beat each other up [no long term injuries] and look sloppy doing it. That will be ok. Then I don't care who wins. But to give the deadskins a loss, I'll probably go for the Iggles.

oddly enough I think the skins can win this game and will.

I am having a hard time convincing myself that I really believe that because it is the eagles home opener and because mcnabb has to play better.

but still, the skins had the eagles beat last year and campbell made two bad throws that cost them the game.

I just think they will play keep away enough to wear out the eagles.

I'm actually more interested in this game than most since these guys are our rivals. I can't get too fired up about Miami vs. Buffalo or Seattle vs. St. Louis, but this one has some interest for me.

I think the Eagles will pound them tonight, and that's fine with me. I'd rather the Skins not get any positive momentum with the relatively easy schedule they have.

I agree that It's good for us for the E-girls to lose as many games as possible. On the other hand, you can never take the Foreskins lightly. The Cowboys/Commanders games defy logic.

Even when one team is clearly superior the other team finds a way to win, usually in the last few minutes. You can't take it for granted that we will beat them.

Jason Campbell vs the Philly D say what you want about Philly but their pass D has been pretty damn good over the years, this could be very amusing for Cowboys fans.
