SkinsandTerps, credit to you. You called it.

I'm pretty happy seeing the Eagles at 0-2.

I couldn't be more excited by this. The Eagles are done. Their dominance is over. We've seen this rodeo before in the late 90's when we all knew it was falling apart and age was starting to hit us. Same thing with the eagles now.
I believe I said this in a previous thread but I will say it again. The 2007 Philadelphia Eagles are the 2000 Dallas Cowboys. An aging quarterback, a core of aging veteran players, and a series of failures in the draft (which is really their larger issue - have a look at their first round picks from the past 5 years).

If the Lions beat the Eagles next week, then the Eagles are truly done. As for Washington, they are a better team than people here want to give them credit. And the Cowboys will get a true litmus test next week in Chicago.

Remain me not to read Extremeskins forum this week. Now that they've beaten the Eagles, they will be setting up a schedule with a jewelry to measure for the team's SB rings.

Yup,and with the most unforgiving fans in sports. Add the two and it will get ugly.

I think the eagles are a young team. Not aging veterans.

I am not ready to count them out yet.

The giants could be the titanic. If they lose to the skins this week and then have to come home and play philly...and then lose at home to philly....that will be the week coughlin is fired or at least it will be recognized that it is over.

Thanks, It wasn't as convincing as I would have liked, but the Commanders played smart football and showed a stout D for most of the game.

When they went into prevent it was frustrating watching all of the underneath plays and McNabb look like he was making a difference. I will save the explanation for the football ignorant, not yourself.

Campbell made some of the errant throws that I was referring to, but he still showed poise and pretty good decision making.

Some of you guys need to realize that the Commanders D played a big part in the Eagles looking bad at times. The Eagles WR's weren't getting separation very often and when they did it was underneath. Hell, the Commanders got 3 sacks and 2 of them were coverage sacks.

Feels good being 2-0. Same as the Cowboys, just need to go 8-6 the rest of the way. When I look at it that way it doesn't seem as daunting a task.

Credit where credit is due. Cowboys offense seems to be clicking and overall they have played some good football. Commanders Defense has been clicking as well. Now if either team gets the other side of the ball to play to their potential ? Congrats on 2-0, personally I am glad the bye week is coming up, I want these guys to focus.

Congrats to those that called it, I didn't see that coming.

My only thought is that McNabb, right now, is holding the team back. I'm not ready to count my team out, or McNabb, but if he doesn't improve.... they aren't going nowhere. If AJ Feeley wasn't injured, I'd be calling for him to start.

He improved!;)

PT

I could complete the passes McNabb did last weekend... play after play after play, he had receivers unbelievably wide open...

Which means that either your receivers are the finest to ever play the game, or the Lions' pass defense blows large chunks... :D
