Buddy, we're currently middle of the pack. I'm not a bragger, and I wouldn't even think about it unless we've beaten a "good" team by more than just 3 or 8 points.

The Eagles actually won a ton of games in '03 they had NO business of winning.

No way-it ain't gonna happen this year.

BTW-ONLY ONE 0-2 team has made the playoffs since '04, and that was KC(largely b/c of of lucky tiebreakers).

That was probably one of the worst games McNabb has ever played, particularly not in the playoffs.

He was no great shakes last week either. If he doesn't turn it around soon, it will be too late.

Without McNabb the Eagles are a 1 player offense with Westbrook. And their defense has been sliding for years.

Throw in a distracted coach, and no real impact drafts or FAs recently, and there is a good chance this is the year the Eagles take a dive.

Their FO has never been stupid. I don't think drafting Kolb was an accident.

the eagles made the playoffs in 03 after starting 0-2. Do you remember that game, mcnabb was horrendous and was booed the entire game against new england.

THey were left for dead and then went to the nfc championship...

and as far as winning games they shouldnt have, what does that matter, they won didnt they...all good teams get lucky and win some of those games.

The Commanders are a solid team. Their defense is solid and makes you work for it and their offense can run the ball. It's a classic formula and it's working for them.

The Eagles, however, have some serious issues. They have no weapons on offense except for Westbrook and McNabb and McNabb is looking less like a weapon these days. They're also getting old on the defensive side of the ball. They are in trouble.

I do think we can and will win the NFC East. But the Eagles are not dead yet. They made a run last year too. The Giants started 6-2 last year and did not continue their early success. Its a long season. But I'm happier seeing the Eagles down 0-2 than being at 1-1. The Skins don't scare me but any division game brings out the best of both teams. We can't overlook them, but I expect to beat the Skins. I could have said the same last year too.

The only caution I would offer is that Cowboys/Commanders game defy logic. They take weird twists and turns and the team that has no chance, according to the experts, wins a lot of the time.
