I did not see this beatdown coming. Rams the only "dog" to win in this round?
:hammer:......If you watched the Vikings this year.....You gotta be so disappointed. The defense played so well.....Darnold played well....they ran the football. Were balanced.....Honestly thought they were the team coming out of the NFC. But the O-line giving up 8 sacks????

It would be kinda cool to see Matthew Stafford & Jared Goff face off in the NFCCG.

Been interesting to follow their respective fortunes since they were traded for each other.

The Minnesota Vikings are the first 14-win team in NFL history to lose in the wild card round.

That wasn't just a loss....that was a beatdown. That just doesn't happen in the playoffs. That was a really weird game. I can't believe what I just witnessed. Feels like the Vikings threw in the towel around the 3rd quarter. No urgency.....No hurry up offense....Just kind of like....let's just get this over.....I just don't get it. I would be so pissed off as a player in that locker room. Never seen a team just go into a shell like that.....not with that many skins on the wall in a season. 14 wins....just went up in smoke like they didn't even care.

I get the feeling some here didnt watch the Rams down the stretch after they got their guys back.
They won their last 5 (including vs the Bills) before resting everyone week 18

Plus, they did beat the Vikings already this year

Going on the road to Philly with about 2 days less rest (Monday night game plus travel) could be a challenge though

In Philly but the LA love for all the travesty could put them in the championship game if they play a clean game

I'm not getting all hyped up over that 9 sack performance. Vikings had 3 backups playing on the O-line @ one point. It just finally caught up with them.....losing both tackles.....Especially O'Neil going down tonight...was kinda the back breaker. They just didn't bounce back like I thought they would tonight...after last week. Sure seemed like their spirit was broken....and sure didn't have any urgency once they got down.

Plus Philly was the last team to beat them (not counting the meaningless week 18). They do not match up well with us

In defense of Sam Darnold......no QB survives 9 sacks and constant pressure all game. Minny may want to reexamine their OL. Rams watched film of the Detroit game.

The issue is what do you pay him? He looked like a 50M / year QB for 15 games. But the end was ugly and he has a long history of ugly. Might be better not to pay him and develop JJ since they just invested a top 10 pick in him.

Some of those sacks were all on him. He held on to the ball way too long a few times and could have thrown it away.

To me it looks like Sam Darnold's coach turned back into a pumpkin. What we've seen of him his last two games is what he was in the past. If Dak played that poorly you know what fans here would do to him.

How many of those sacks was because he held onto the ball too long? I'd say more than not. His pocket awareness was terrible. There were routes open but either he didn't see them or tried to find someone better. And Minnesota coaching kept calling longer developing routes for big plays, even knowing their OL wasn't holding up.

KOC now has not had his team ready for his 2nd playoff game. They let Daniel Jones beat them at home a few years ago.
